Takes time, but good results
Patience is key. I have limitations, so this works fine for me. It takes a minute or so, but no pain to my arthritic hands.

Powerful !!
Powerful ! It opened two jars of salsa that nothing else could open. Huge pop when it succeeded.

Open sesame.
Jars are the enemy of people with arthritis in their hands, but this Wingosoph brand jar opener solve that problem, mostly. Powered by two AA batteries, which were not included, this opener can open most jars, and maybe at your house all jars. It’s annoying that the batteries aren’t rechargeable. I almost would rather have it plug into a wall socket. The opener looks like something from War of the Worlds, and is fun to watch, but I’m sure that will wear off. You need to keep the grippers clean and dry or it will slip. It’s a nice thing to have.

It’s a good price for what it is
It works far better than I expcted! Battery life is a little short but it’s worth it.

If you have trouble opening jars, get one of these!
This jar opener works perfect. I have opened big jars and medium sized jars right down to the tiniest little jam jars. I could not be happier with this product. I will be buying more as gifts. Highly recommend this product.

It works!
This jar opener works and is very easy to use. It requires batteries and a large drawer for storage. It is not the fastest but if you can’t get a jar open then it is well worth it. This is easy to use, all you need to do is press a button and it does all the work. My only gripe is that the device is large so if you don’t have a ton of kitchen space or if you have shallow drawers it makes it a pain to store for easy access. Other than that minor issue this really does work!

A few tweaks would make this perfect
I got this for me initially because I’m tired of whacking the lid in order to open it, but then gave it to my mother because her arthritis kicked in and she couldn’t open any jars. I used it on regular jars and even vitamin caps and medicine bottles and it worked on all three types! My real complaint with it (besides the fact that it is LOUD) is that once you activate it, there is no way to pause it or reverse it if it starts to slip. It keeps going until it feels a resistance and then does the turning bit. My mother hasn’t complained about it, which means it must be good, since she’s a champ in the complaints department. That should be proof positive that it is relatively easy to use and does its job.

It works, and it’s fun to watch!
This jar opener is like having a little robot to open your jars! After you place it on your jar lid–no plastic lids–you just push and hold in the button on top. The outer “jaws” begin to move closer to the jar to hold it in place, at which time the inner “jaws” grab the lid and twist it off. It happens so fast, it’s hard to believe. You should release the button when the inner “jaws” begin to move.It works so well and is perfect for older hands. It’s so much fun to use, I have to resist the temptation to unscrew all the metal lids in the house. I’m very pleased with this and so happy to have it. I can finally retire that little round rubbery disc I’ve been using to open jars for the past decade! My only issue is that I haven’t figured out how to turn it off. Once the lid is off, my opener continues to run, so I simply remove the batteries and all is well.
