Customers say

Customers find the stethoscope and blood pressure set to be of excellent quality and good value for money, with a cuff that fits large arms perfectly and is easy to use. The functionality and accuracy receive mixed reviews – while some say it works as expected and is fairly accurate, others find it completely useless and inaccurate. Customers report issues with the cuff not holding pressure and Velcro that doesn’t hold properly.

    Expect the unexpected
I ordered this combo cuff and stethoscope set. I needed the large cuff for class and expected for $30 the Stethoscope wouldn’t work very well. I was so wrong. I paid a terrible high price for the newest most popular stethoscope and had my name engraved. I cannot hear anything out of it. I used this in a gym with 50 loud kids, teachers, other nursing students giving health screenings and the stethoscope in this set works so well. When I was working a different station and didn’t need it I let a girl use mine bc she couldn’t hear out of her stethoscope because it was so loud. Her whole table tried it and asked for the links. This is the one I pack in my bag for everything the expensive is thrown in the trunk in case I ever forget to swap it to my other bag.

    good!
This product seems sturdy and functional. I haven’t used it much yet, but I think it will hold up well and I am very happy with my purchase! Great price as well!

    not easy to use!
got this because was supposed to be able to check own blood pressure. Problem is you have to pump it up with one hand and hold the stethoscope with other hand, so you can’t really check your own blood pressure – at least accurately. Probably works fine if you have someone else to check your pressure for you.Pro: cuff is big enough for big arms – not one of those silly 9″-13″ arm cuffs that are sold with so many units. I have 19″ arms and those small cuffs give inaccurate (too high) results

    Good quality
I took this to my medical professionals to have them teach me how to use it. They said it is good quality and it was perfectly calibrated out-of-the-box. That made me feel it was a good purchaseThis item has everything you need to get started – read the ads carefully because sometimes the stethoscope or another part isn’t included. My arm is about 12 inches around (I’m on the large side) and this cuff fits perfectly.

Advertised cuff size is wrong, could lead to false readings
After figuring out that you have to have the cuff wrapped around your arm so that the velcro hooks are facing up (otherwise the velcro will slowly detach as you inflate the cuff), I was able to take my pressure. But it was really high. The next 2 days were better but the readings were still higher than in the doctor’s office (usually it’s the other way around, according to my doctor). So I googled blood pressure cuff size rule (cuff width should be at least 40% of your arm circumference). This cuff is 17.5 cm wide, and a cuff that’s good for a 51cm arm should be at least 20.4 cm. If I’ve calculated correctly, the “Large Adult” cuff is only good if your arm is 43.75 cm or less in circumference.

    Medical Assistant Approved
My girl is a medical assistant and she was shocked the quality of the cuff and stethoscope. I have about 19-20 inch arms and have high blood pressure so my doctor wanted me to monitor it at home. The cuff fit well, definitely big enough and the stethoscope works very well. My girl was very impressed and wants one for herself for work. Everything fits in the case easily, which is nice. Definitely worth the money, great deal.
