High Quality, Extra-Large Blood Pressure Cuff with Multiple Adaptors to Fit a Wide Range of Monitors
I’m a typical adult, going up a size on blood pressure cuffs as I age. It matters how your cuff fits you and those few extra pounds can make a difference in arm size. Have you measured yours lately? That’s my scenario and what led me to get this extra-large cuff. This particular cuff is good for arm sizes 8.6” to 20.8” (or at least it needs to wrap something between these measurements to give an accurate reading –can’t imagine anyone having an 8.6” arm, lol). It comes with a user guide to tell you how to wrap it correctly. Before that, however, you need to connect it to your blood pressure monitor. The “default” connector, which was on it when it arrived, fit perfectly into my monitor, so I did not have to identify an alternative. It does come with quite an assortment of connector/adaptors, so it’s quite likely one will fit your monitor too. I took my blood pressure, as usual, and the readings fell into my normal range. So, going to this larger size cuff has not distorted my readings in any way. The cuff is well-made and should last a long time. The materials are high-quality and the Velcro is very secure, even when highly inflated. The air tubing is exactly the same length as my old cuff, so this is probably standardized across brands.I’ve taken a few pictures to help you see what you are getting: 1- as it arrived, in package; 2- cuff and connectors out of the box; 3- closeup of the adaptors/connectors; 4- user guide, front page; 5- user guide, back page; 6- plugged into my blood pressure monitor; 7- my old “large” cuff alongside the new “extra-large” cuff, for size comparison. If you need to be taking your blood pressure, then you know the price of this cuff is well worth the money. If this is the right size for you, I highly recommend it. Amazon offers their wonderful no-hassle 30-day return/refund/replace guarantee with this product and it ships free for Prime members. For quality, durability, versatility, adaptability, and price, I am giving this blood pressure cuff five stars.

Nice cuff, lots of adjustment, works well
This is a very usable cuff with a lot of adjustment available for different size arms. The D ring style makes it easier to put on your own arm if you are taking your own blood pressure. The tube is about 24 inches long – the same as the cuff that came with my machine. The included pieces should allow it to connect with most if not all machines. It fit mine with no problem, despite the fact that my machine is quite old. Due to the age of my machine, I was beginning to question its accuracy – so I ordered a manual BP set, taught myself to take blood pressure with the help of some you tube videos, and compared my readings to those provided by my machine with this cuff. I took manual readings first, to eliminate any reliance on the machine readings. Readings for both my wife and myself were extremely close between my machine with this cuff and the manual readings I got. Even though this cuff has “left arm” printed on it, I had no problem using it on either arm. There is a red edge which should be placed on the inside of your elbow, and a mark centered on the red edge that should be over the vein that runs up your arm on the inside of your elbow. If you put it on like that, it will work on either arm. A little reading found that the cuffs on automated machines have sensors that detect oscillations caused by blood flow in your vein as it is compressed, then released – and the machine “reads” those oscillations and converts them into blood pressure readings. That being said, cuff placement becomes important for accurate readings with an automated machine. This cuff seems accurate, is easy to use, and gave me no problems.

Good quality extra-large Blood Pressure monitor cuff with connectors for multiple monitors
This extra-large blood pressure monitor cuff fits from size large through XL, from 8.7″ through 20.5″ circumference arms. It is supposed to be compatible with many BP monitors on the market by swapping out the connector between the cuff and the monitor. If you know the correct size you might have an easier time getting this to work than I did, or if you have a digital micrometer and know how to measure the connectors properly, but I had to use trial and error. There are enough connectors that you should be able to find one to fit your monitor. I had one that I thought was working but the next time I used it I got an error from the monitor. In addition to a proper fit of the connector, you have to make sure the cuff is attached tightly before beginning inflation.I like that this allows more than one person to use the same BP monitor even if they usually need different cuffs. The inner sleeve is plastic and seemed to make me sweat more than the original sleeve, but that might just because I tried so many different connectors in the one session.Make sure you wipe down the inside of the cuff before allowing someone else to use it.

Replacement Arm Cuff That Just Works
I bought this extra large replacement cuff to swap onto an older home BP monitor and it did the job. Fit is what matters here. The cuff wraps around big arms easily and the Velcro holds tight. The size range listed matches my upper arm, so it gave a snug fit without feeling pinched. It comes with a bunch of connector tips. That made it painless to find one that fit my monitor. I tried both the quick snap style and the threaded connector and neither leaked air. The bladder inflates evenly and the readings matched what my original cuff showed within a few points.Material feels durable. The nylon fabric is soft enough that it does not grab arm hair. The TPU bladder seems well made. After a couple weeks of daily checks it still looks like new. The Velcro is strong but not brutal to remove, and the stitching looks solid so I’m not worried about it falling apart.A couple notes. You do need to make sure you select the right connector for your unit. The package includes many types, which is good, but it takes a minute to try them. Also, it won’t help if your monitor is the problem since this is just the cuff.If you need a larger cuff that fits a range of monitors and holds up to regular use, this one is a straightforward, no-nonsense swap.
