Best seat cushion I’ve experienced: Solid yet comfortable on butt; relieves my sciatica, leg nerves
I loved this product so much I ordered another 1 after first ordering 2. I place it on my computer chair and on a leather love seat that has a seat cushion that is too soft. I have sciatica and nerve issues and this seat cushion is the only one I have had to send back to Amazon. It works. On the leather love seat, the cushion maintains its solid integrity, so the cushion does not bend. I am 5’11.5″ inches tall and weigh 210 pounds, yet this cushion can hold my weight without bending like a taco. Paradoxically, the cushion itself is still soft enough to give great relief to my buttocks. I find I can sit longer when sitting. To relieve my sciatica and nerve issues, I also bought on Amazon the VariDesk Pro Plus 36 Standing Desk Converter, the VariDesk Standing Desk Floor Mat, and use gel-filled shoes. I find alternating between sitting and standing while reading and writing, and watching television, is the best solution for my nerve conditions. But definitely I am extremely happy with this seat cushion, so much so, I’ve now purchased 3 of them. I highly recommend this product to you. You will love it. Do allow the cushion to inflate to it’s normal position by not using it for 48 hours. What’s great is that it does not squish up like other seat cushions. It really retains its solidity. The bottom of the cushion has a non-slide protection, so you can only use one side of it to sit on. This is not a problem since you can simply turn it around so the side with the handle on it can face forwards and sometimes backwards. But again, this cushion maintains its solidity while being very comfortable. A solid 5 out of 5! OUTSTANDING!

Great for making an uncomfortable chair bearable
Bought this to cover the too firm office chair cushion I had suffered with for longer than I care to admit. After using everything in the house to sit on including pillows and folded comforters of various materials and thickness, I gave up and started shopping. After researching a couple of days, which always includes reading many reviews on various styles and materials I decided this cushion looked like it fit my needs the best.The material is foam/memory foam that has enough thickness to fully support a 200 lb. man. After using it daily for several months and hours at a time it has retained its original shape with only a slightly noticeable glute-shaped impression in the foam. Instead of being too soft that is squishes down to nothing and gives no lasting comfort, it seems just right and must truly be made from furniture quality foam.In order to keep the removable and washable cover in pristine condition a folded towel is placed over it. So far washing it has not been necessary and there is no unpleasant smell from the materials. The size is perfect for the average/standard office chair seat cushion, it covers mine completely. This is a ‘true wellness’ office chair from Costco by the way.All my issues with the chair were solved by adding this cushion, however it is so comfortable now that I don’t get up and move around as often as health professionals recommend. (still working on that 🙂 I feel kinda lucky that I found something that worked on my first try. That doesn’t happen too often.There is no floaty feel like some people have reported from the gel type cushions. For someone like me who has trouble sitting on a variety of chair types for any length of time this has been a great find. My rear and lower back do not get sore from extended sessions of browsing, writing, or gaming and so I must recommend this cushion wholeheartedly. If you get it I hope it helps you just as much. A needed cushion for our tush! – UPDATE – product improvements!
My search for a cushion for my desk chair found lots of choices, but this one looks like the one!► Update – June 12, 2016▪ This cushion has been improved! They added a nonslip webbing on the bottom so now this cushion will stay put! In addition, it now comes in a gray color.The pros:+ Reasonably priced at $22.95, with free Amazon shipping when I purchased mine.+ Good customer product reviews.+ Comes in 2 flavors, the original black & now in gray, which I like better.+ Extra large 19 x 17 size.+ No odd looking cutout.+ removable cover that can be laundered.The cons:- It takes awhile to break in! It will feel hard & too high. See my additional remarks below.- The covering wears from normal use & will eventually wear thru to the cushion. This happens on the front where the legs press down on the cushion.- Price has gone up to $23.99.Additional comments:▪ This cushion comes tightly rolled up in a plastic bag. There was a slight smell when I removed it from the plastic bag & unrolled it. The smell dissipated quickly.▪ I have to admit I hated this cushion when I first used it & every time I sat on it! It felt too high & wasn’t comfortable to sit on. I read in the reviews that it takes time to break in this cushion, so I forced myself to continue using it. Once the cushion conforms to your bottom & compresses down a bit, it is VERY comfortable! :)▪ I’ve since purchased 3 more of these. One for my son to use on his gaming chair, one for a chair in our family room & a replacement for one that was showing wear.
