I needed glasses that:1.Offered superior glare reduction when in department stores/malls: anyplace where the lighting is diffused and strong EVERYWHERE.2. Cut down on all that car headlight glare that seems to penetrate through my eyes and into the back of my skull, exhausting me and causing headaches.3. Helped with bright light on overcast days where sunglasses are overkill4. Offered my eyes some relaxation while gaming5.Were well-made, yet inexpensive if they didn’t work6. Looked great and not overtly yellow out in public.I did some research prior to selecting the Eyekepper brand, and I took the chance on these. It was like ordering from a menu you’re not used to, and then realizing you’ve suddenly found your favorite dish.Get these. Don’t hesitate. If you have issues like mine above, THESE GLASSES WILL HELP. I now wear them daily and outside the house too.(When you wear these on a sunny or overcast day, things look a little browner; perhaps a 15% tint to everything.It’s not much; think of an old 80’s photo compared to today’s digital cameras.I kind of like the filter!)Indoors, while in the car or at the store, these are lifesavers and will spare me nights of lost production due to eyestrain, eye dry eyes or headaches.My eyes always have hurt while in the car in the evening; glowing signs and headlights are far too much for my eyes to take sometimes.(I have excellent vision, but overly light sensitive eyes.)I don’t regret purchasing these glasses for a second. Now that I have, I may seek out more expensive brands/models that may be a bit better made. I’m not griping; my Eyekeppers feel well made and all, but I can tell that since the plastic is a bit thin, it wouldn’t take a lot of work to snap them or have an arm break. I suppose the same could be said for many glasses out there, but I may seek out something entirely metal-framed next time, now that I know the technology works.

Relaxed Viewing with Computer Screens, Good Quality
I ordered my usual 2.75 and it’s fine. I don’t know why some reviews said you should order down in intensity, that would not have worked for me because I need this magnification so going down a magnification due to the slight tint seems silly. The optical quality is noticeably better than the clear readers I’d been buying at Costco. Comfortable fit, too. There is a very slight yellowish tint to the glass, but I’ll emphasize that it’s a very faint tint. Some reviewers said this tint didn’t help with computers to diminish the blue light from a screen, but I completely disagree. I find these glasses much more relaxing and restful, and they definitely diminish the blue output from the computer screen. The cold blue from the screen is reduced to a warmer and much more comfortable and less eye straining level. When I compare to my regular clear readers, there is quite a marked difference. I don’t notice the yellow tint after a minute or two and in any case, it’s not bothersome or annoying if I do think about it. I use these glasses only for when I’m on the computer, but not for regular reading although I admit sometimes I forget it is these I have on rather than my regular clear readers. I like these glasses enough to order a second pair, and for me, that’s the test of thinking they work well for the purpose. They also come with a nice little zip case and cleaner cloth. The Amazon price seems a good value.

Work beautifully and are Stylish!
I have three pairs of these now: for work, at home, and on the go. I love the little case they come with, to keep them safe. I REALLY feel the loss of them if I end up having to work on a screen at someone’s house and I don’t have these at hand. Huge difference in energy and eye comfort! My girlfriend thinks they are a good “sexy-nerd” look for me, which is an added bonus. Would be 5 stars, but one of the pairs, the one I have had the longest, started to lose their finish where my ears touch them on the ear pieces. They still work well, however!

These are not high fashion and are meant for indoors on the computer where appearance is not that important. However, they are business looking, but they ARE very attractive in my opinion. One very large caution for being careful: One big feature is the two-way spring hinge. This is good because it prevents the hinge from breaking as when a normal eyeglass hing bends backwards and breaks. However, on these Eyekepper’s when the spring hinge is accidentally bent backward the spring tension will very easily break the very thin plastic of the frame covering the hinge and a piece of plastic will fall off the outside of the frame exposing the hinge metal. When this happens the glasses can NEVER be folded up again and must be forever used without folding. I put a loop of electrical tape around the hinge and I leave them unfolded on the desk. Summary one must use these very carefully! The entire side piece of plastic is extremely thin and fragile. These are NOT for outdoor work or use anywhere when putting on and off frequently. That said, I have bought 4 pairs of them. They are modestly priced and I tape them and glue them and leave them on my desk to be used gently for many months. They ARE optically good for computer, so just leave them at the computer and do not carry them around where there are many opportunities to break them in harms way. Bottom line you get what you pay for: cheap, useful, but easily breakable.

Bought these as a spare pair of readers, but they are small fit and most likely better for kids or teenagers. Being small, they are easy to chuck in a bag for occasional use, but look way too small on an adult head.

I really enjoy these glasses even though I didn’t think that I needed them. They do a great job at preventing my eyes from being too strained after looking at my cell phone or computer too much.Also what I like about these glasses are the frames are quite flexible and comfortable. There is no additional nose pads they are hard framed which I prefer anyways.As an extra bonus I really liked the case that they came in. It’s small very lightweight and can easily slip into almost any pocket comfortably. The case has just the perfect amount of rigidity to it that will prevent your glasses from being crushed accidentally. The glasses that I ordered were 1.50 in strength which give me crystal clear image while reading. This is the perfect glasses for me to bring on my upcoming holiday. His class is also do a great job if you are having difficulty reading menu in a darkened restaurant. If I have the misfortune of losing these I’ll definitely buy another pair.I hope my description is helpful
