Excellent Resource for Dealing With an Awful Disease
Provides a large amount of information in one book, and the chapters are written for patients and caregivers. My one disappoint was the short section of just 6 pages on lung clearance which is essential for all patients. Many will benefit from the use of nebulizers filled with saline or other mucolytic medications, and very little information is provide about the selection of nebulizers and compressors for this purpose, appropriate use of them, and needed sanitation.Still, it is worth the price many times over.

Helpful book for people with cystic fibrosis, family members, or healthcare providers
This is a very well-written, easy-to-read, informative book about cystic fibrosis. It explains aspects of the disease and how to live with it. This book will be very helpful for people with cystic fibrosis, their family members and friends who want to understand it, and any healthcare providers who work with cystic fibrosis or want to learn about this. I have used this text for trainees and students to learn about cystic fibrosis. Would highly recommend!
