Customers say
Customers find the smart door lock easy to install and use, with multiple ways to control access and the ability to set up multiple fingerprints. The fingerprint reader works well, and customers consider it worth the price. However, the functionality and security receive mixed reviews – while some say it works well, others report the fingerprint scanner stops working after 5 months, and some mention it doesn’t securely lock the door properly.

Excellent Value packed with features
This was a great lock and I’ll be getting more in the future. Easy to install and program. Worked great and comes with a key fob for easy opening. I bought this for my ski locker at a vacation rental of mine and I love being able to give my guest a key fob and passcode. Love having my finger print programmed so I don’t have to worry about having a key on me. They also have a hard key back up in case the battery dies on you!It was easy to set it up and program it. Only drawback is if you want to access remotely you do need to pick up an additional gateway to connect to it, however at the price point this came in at I wouldn’t have an issue picking up the gateway. Will pick up for future rentals

Super Happy Camper
This door knob is the cats meow! I work nights and I got sooo tired of every morning when I got home and am so tired I’d forget to keep my keys in hand till I unlocked the old knob and would throw them in my big ol bag of crap to then get annoyed bc I had to then dig for them so I seen this knob and the price was right so I figured eh why not?! It was very easy to install with the instructions and video. Had it installed and registered with the app in less than half hr. Came with 2 reg keys n 2 fob cards. I haven’t gotten the gateway yet but I really don’t see a need for it right now. Finger unlock is my favorite, works awesome, fast and easy. I like how the app generators a code for u for pretty much anything either permanently, one time use, you can even schedule it for certain days and times many choices. I set mine to a certain code, every weekday at between 3-4p when my kid gets home from school just in case he forgets his fob at home (he’s 11). My disabled mother lives with me and I registered her finger print with the app so now I don’t ever have to worry of her getting locked outside. The app is easy to use and understand and can be linked with yr email and cell number… It’s absolutely awesome 👍🏽👍🏽 I get in my house quicker then I did with old school 🗝️ will be buying more for the other doors in my house.

Pretty Easy to Install
First off, please realize that you will likely have to relocate your deadbolt (if you have a deadbolt). This is pretty common with these smart handle locks because they’re so tall they would bump into the deadbolt if you tried to install in the normal place. So make sure you can work with that.I thought the instructions were pretty easy to follow. If you have zero experience installing a door knob, you should probably watch a Youtube or two first just to get how it’s supposed to work. The lock looks very nice. I appreciate that the battery and everything is located inside the house. The keypad does read when I push on it so that’s cool.I liked that there were many different options to access the lock so you don’t always have to worry about having internet or a dead battery or remembering a code or having the physical key or keycard, etc.I will say that it’s a struggle to get the fingerprint reader to read sometimes. I’ve added myself twice to the unit so it should have an even better chance at recognizing me but sometimes it does take 7 or 8 tries to get in. THAT SAID: the lock gets SUPER hot in the afternoon due to the setting sun and perhaps the heat makes it less accurate. It’s possible that it would read the fingerprint better if it wasn’t boiling hot.I DO like the keypad but….you have to know it’s there. If you don’t know it’s there, you wouldn’t be able to tell. It just looks like a blank door knob. So you have to poke the area the keypad is in before the numbers light up. THEN you can use the keypad. Not a big deal but I’m not sure it will work great if you had an AirBNB or something because guests might not intuitively understand that they need to touch the blank handle before the numbers will light up.I also think it’s weird that you can’t lock the handle from the inside. Like, there’s no button to do that, apparently? And when you want to lock the door after you leave, you have to hit the * symbol on the keypad (or I believe you can lock it from the app) which is fine but not exactly intuitive. So, again, if you had AirBNB guests, they’d have to read your instructions to lock the door and we all know people struggle to read instructions…lol. There IS an autolock feature which is great if it’s your house and just you and the fam come in and out. But if you have AirBNB guests, I don’t think the autolock option is ok to leave on because guests aren’t going to memorize their codes and what if they get locked outside without their phone? They’d have no way to figure out what the code is OR any way to contact you. However, I do really like the lock and all the features so I would recommend buying it and giving it a try.Just one thing to note for those who care: you don’t need WiFi to set up or use this lock. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth and once it’s set up, you don’t even need Bluetooth. Just use the fingerprint or keypad or keycard, etc. I believe you can set up the lock to work with WiFi but I believe you’d have to purchase a second gateway or something and plug it into your house and I don’t have internet so…. yeah.

works great but gets some rust near the handle pivot
I bought a few of these as well as the Gateway. They were easy to install and setup.I thought these could work with your existing lock but I had to use the parts supplied. It is not like this was a deal breaker but some other smartlocks I bought could have been used with your existing lock with relevant adaptors.Anyway installation was not difficult. and setup was quick and easy.Follow the easy graphical instructions.I have used fingerprints, key codes and fobs. All were easy to set up. I use the phone app to initialise the setups. The key codes work almost flawlessly. The screen requires a touch before it activates. Takes a small amount of time to get used to.FOBS work quickly and easily.Fingerprints usually require two or three attempts. If it is raining or if there is some mud or dirt, or oils, I usually have to clean off and wipe off.Water ‘Swollen’ fingers tend not to work. Bear this in mind in case you came back from swimming or was out in the rain for too long and your fingers swell from the water. The unlock feature using the phone is also nice but tends to be slower. The bluetooth feature takes a little while to connect and often has time outs so usually 30 seconds to get things working. The remote/wifi feature is a little quicker, about 5-15 seconds.Neither in instant. Now after about 1 month of use I noticed some rusting in the area where the door handle pivots. While I dont expect issues at this time, it probably will be an issue later on (maybe a year later).I have used for about 6 months now and dont notice functional issue, but the rusting area has increased.

Easy to install. Easy to use. Good for my private owned guesthouse.

When it works it is great, purchased in December but by Feb the lock did not always unlock. Not the batteries but the plastic plunger that activates the handle. Difficult to replace as it was over 30 days but managed in the end. Now on the second one so see if it’s a one off failure or a design fault.

Easy to install and use, setup was a breeze. I added all fingerprints swiftly and it works flawlessly. Fits behind my screen door with no issues and looks very nice on my door. My one gripe was there is no QR code to download the app (have to search TT Lock on the store).

Too much bulky and we can’t lock the screen door. End up buying other smart door lock so better check the size.
