    Accurate and Rechargeable
The accuracy is good, I’ve compared it to the devices at my doctors office and it’s simple functionality of just slipping it on your finger is nice. Big bright screen and easy to read numbers and wave form. Pulse rate is also accurate and it’s small enough to fit in your pocket. The battery life isn’t too bad depending on how often you use it but it’s recharge time is pretty quick.

Nice pulse-ox with a long battery life!
I recently purchased the Fingertip Pulse Oximeter with Respiration Rate Monitoring, PI & RR Measurements, and I’m really impressed by its performance. As someone who’s health-conscious and likes to keep track of my vitals, this device has been incredibly helpful and easy to use. Here’s why I’m so satisfied with this oximeter:Design and Build Quality:The first thing that caught my attention was the compact and sleek design of this pulse oximeter. It’s small enough to fit comfortably in my hand or pocket, making it incredibly portable. The lightweight nature of the device makes it ideal for carrying around, whether you’re at home, at work, or traveling. The build quality feels sturdy and durable, with a non-slip surface that helps me maintain a firm grip while taking measurements. The display screen is bright and clear, with easy-to-read numbers. The OLED screen shows the measurements for oxygen saturation (SpO2), pulse rate, respiration rate (RR), and Perfusion Index (PI), all on one screen. The colors are well-designed for visibility, even in dim lighting, and the display automatically rotates for easy viewing whether you’re using it with your left or right hand.Ease of Use:Using the pulse oximeter is incredibly simple. You just clip it onto your fingertip, press the button, and within seconds, it provides accurate readings for SpO2 and pulse rate. The respiration rate (RR) and Perfusion Index (PI) measurements are great additional features, allowing you to track more than just oxygen levels. It’s perfect for people who need to keep an eye on their overall respiratory health. The one-button operation makes this oximeter incredibly user-friendly, and I really appreciate that it takes only a few seconds to get the results. It’s also convenient that it turns off automatically after a few seconds of inactivity, preserving the battery life.Accuracy and Reliability:I’ve tested this device against a few other medical-grade pulse oximeters, and the readings are consistently accurate. It provides a real-time readout of oxygen saturation levels (SpO2) and pulse rate without any noticeable delays. The addition of the Respiration Rate (RR) is a unique feature that sets this oximeter apart from others in this price range. RR gives you insight into your breathing patterns, which is especially useful for monitoring lung health, tracking recovery from respiratory illnesses, or simply ensuring your lungs are working efficiently. The Perfusion Index (PI) is another important feature that helps measure the strength of blood flow to the fingertip. This gives an added layer of data, indicating how well blood is circulating in your system. It’s a feature I haven’t found in many other fingertip oximeters, and I find it useful when monitoring overall cardiovascular health.Battery Life:The battery life on this pulse oximeter is impressive. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now, and the batteries have lasted quite a while. It operates on two AAA batteries, which are easy to replace. I like that the device doesn’t drain the battery quickly, and the auto-off function helps conserve power when not in use.Portability and Convenience:This device is small enough to carry in a purse, pocket, or bag, making it convenient for on-the-go monitoring. Whether you’re at home, traveling, or at the gym, it’s easy to use this pulse oximeter to keep tabs on your oxygen levels and respiratory health. It’s especially helpful during or after workouts or when you’re feeling a bit out of breath.Versatility:This pulse oximeter is great for a variety of users:Athletes can use it to monitor oxygen levels and respiration after training sessions.Seniors or individuals with lung conditions like asthma, COPD, or sleep apnea can track their SpO2 and RR readings regularly.People recovering from illness or anyone who needs to keep track of their lung health will appreciate the added features. The ability to measure both SpO2 and RR gives a more complete picture of your respiratory health than just oxygen levels alone. If you’re someone who needs to monitor your health more closely, this oximeter is a great tool.Overall Performance:The Fingertip Pulse Oximeter with Respiration Rate Monitoring is a highly reliable, accurate, and user-friendly device. It gives you quick, precise readings for oxygen saturation, pulse rate, respiration rate, and perfusion index—important measurements for anyone monitoring their health. The compact design, easy-to-read screen, and simple operation make it an excellent choice for personal use at home or on the go.Overall:If you’re looking for a simple and reliable way to monitor your oxygen levels, pulse rate, and respiration rate, I highly recommend the Fingertip Pulse Oximeter with Respiration Rate Monitoring. It’s a fantastic tool for anyone with respiratory conditions, athletes, or just those who want to keep a closer eye on their overall health. The added features of RR and PI make it stand out from standard pulse oximeters, and its affordable price makes it a great option for home use.

Handy for spot‑checks and basic monitoring — but not a replacement for medical‑grade gear
I like that this pulse oximeter gives oxygen saturation (SpO₂), heart rate, and even an estimated respiration rate all in one. It’s quick to use, doesn’t require fancy setup, and the OLED screen makes the numbers easy to read whether you’re at the bedside or on the go. For simple use — checking blood oxygen or heart rate after a run, or verifying things feel “normal” during mild respiratory issues — it’s convenient and responsive.ProsMeasures SpO₂ and heart rate — useful for tracking at a glance during workouts, altitude changes, or when you’re feeling off.Portable and easy to use — just clip it on a fingertip, wait a few seconds, and get a reading.Respiration‑rate monitoring (when supported) adds a little extra insight beyond basic pulse oximetry — helpful for home wellness awareness, breathing checks after activity/illness.Good for spot‑checks or occasional monitoring — e.g. before/after workouts, during travel, or mild respiratory distress.Compact, lightweight, and travel‑friendly — fits in a bag or glovebox for on‑the‑go checks.Cons / What to Know / LimitationsAccuracy can vary: finger coldness, poor circulation, motion, nail polish, dark skin pigmentation or ambient light all can affect reliability of SpO₂ and pulse readings.Respiration-rate estimates from fingertip oximeters are less reliable than clinical devices — breathing artifacts, low perfusion or motion can throw them off.Consumer pulse oximeters (like this one) are generally considered “wellness tools,” not diagnostic medical equipment.A single reading is only a snapshot — trends or persistent abnormal readings matter more than one-off numbers. For serious respiratory conditions or health concerns, you should not rely solely on a home device — professional medical evaluation and equipment are needed.Bottom LineThis pulse oximeter is a solid, inexpensive tool for occasional SpO₂, heart‑rate, and even respiration‑rate checks — useful for casual wellness tracking, workouts, altitude changes, or when you just want a quick “status check.” It’s convenient and easy to carry, but you should treat it like a basic wellness gauge, not a medical tool. Use it for general awareness or spot‑checks, not as the basis for serious medical decisions.

Simple to use and does the job. Quicker than a watch and works with anyone!
I have an Apple watch that can do an EKC as well as heart rate but this pulse oximeter just makes taking both quick and easy in a matter of seconds. The rechargeable battery means you do not need to look for a small or custom sized battery to replace and the unit is ready to use when needed.Initial charging took a bit over an hour (was partially charged when it arrived) and I’ve used it a few times in the past month and there is no noticeable drop in battery. Using it on a daily basis would surely require more charing, but from my general use I just will charge it once a month to top it off.The screen is bright, easy to read and simple for any age to use it. One of those simple medical devices that is great to have in the house.
