    lightweight and great design
Setting up and getting a reading is fast and simple. Blood oxygen saturation and pulse rate are clearly displayed on the large OLED screen within seconds. The fact that it is designed for both adults and children is a huge plus.It is suitable for various finger sizes, and the latex-free silicone material makes it comfortable to wear. The portability is also a major selling point. The included lanyard and lightweight design make it easy to carry, which is ideal for hiking or when traveling. It automatically shuts down after 8 seconds of inactivity, which is great for saving battery life. The only minor issue is that, like many other pulse oximeters, it’s not a medical device and shouldn’t be used for diagnosing or treating medical conditions. However, for monitoring oxygen saturation and pulse rate during sports or at altitude, or just for peace of mind, it’s a fantastic little device.

    Very compact
Nice and compact, very easy to carry and take with you. The accuracy is to be determined when I compare it to the one my doctor uses.

Works but wish it was rechargeable
I got this after replacing my smartwatch, as the latest models no longer have blood oxygen capabilities. It seems to work well. I haven’t bothered checking whether the pulse readings are accurate because I only care about the blood oxygen. Since I don’t use this that often, I have to remove the batteries between uses in order to avoid corrosion. That’s a bit annoying as I have to store it in a little pouch in order to keep the batteries nearby. It would be easier if it was rechargeable.

    consistent numbers
This is a nice looking meter and the numbers it reports are accurate compared to several other meters I own. The display orientation is portrait, so it should be viewable regardless of what hand you use. There are two things I didn’t like quite so much. It doesn’t turn on automatically, you have to press the button. It was also quite beyond my patience to try getting the strap attached. There are two holes side by side, so maybe you are supposed to stuff the little strap through one and hope it loops back out the other one? Very annoying, especially since the manual shows a different set of holes, and offers no real guidance.

    Works as expected
Works as expected. Compared it to another Oximeter and it gave the same readings. Batteries was not included even though it states that they are. Probably just a mistake, either way it needs 2 AAA batteries. Turns on with a button press, if not used within 10 sec, it turns off automatically.

Good oxygen sensor but not bluetooth capable
This Pepultech Store finger pulse oximeter at $27 before 50% coupon is a great device that measures oxygen and heart rate. The BM1000E seemed to be a bluetooth capable device in the description, but the instruction manual did not share any insights. I was hoping to be able to monitor oxygen levels overnight. There was another product with part number BM1000C that was less costly which might have bluetooth capability. I also ran into an issue where the device did not power up when I installed my own AAA batteries (none were included). It did not power up. After confirming that the batteries were good and inserting them again, it did finally power up. So if you have issues, try inserting the batteries a couple times.

    Pretty good but some flaws
I used this to check my daughter’s blood oxygen. She has a heart condition so it’s always good to have something to check her blood oxygen on hand. I know that the description says this is not to be used medically, but we just use this directionally to make sure things are good. The one thing that I noticed with this monitor is that it does not get the pulse very accurately at times. At one time it showed mine as 85 when I was just sitting there and then back down to 65. Just that alone makes me question how accurate it is, but for the most part using it directionally and to confirm I’m falling within a certain range, it’s fine for that.

An ok purchase considering that it took correct readings of oxygen levels, tested on different people and the results were acceptable.

Everything seemed to work fine.It is small, and the design fits nicely on a finger by clipping on, and is portable and quite straightforward to use.It appears to connect fairly straightforward and readings appear fairly quickly as standard with these. It measured my oxygen at 97% which was the same as another one I have that I used as reference.Bluetooth for mine connected with no issues and per most apps I just accepted everything though some might be more picky with what they allow.I like having doubles of everything to double check readings if there’s an issue for reassurance, and as backup if one breaks.I think the value advertised is fair when writing this review.

  11. Customer Review

The readings this gives are not very stable and are a bit erratic, varying by as much as 3-4% over fairly short time periods. Given that the difference between an excellent reading and one which might be potential cause for concern is only around 7% (change from 100% to 93%), it’s rather a large error margin to have. I have tested plenty of others which give quite stable readings or only vary by 1% over a couple of minutes. The app forces you to allow it to detect your precise location in the world or else it will not allow you to make the Bluetooth connection to the device. There is no reason whatsoever for an app like this to need such information (and who knows what else it is sending back to China?). It’s totally unacceptable for apps like this to demand such information.
