Customers say
Customers find the handrail well-built and functional, with positive feedback about its foldability and grip features. The installation process receives mixed reviews – while some find it super easy to install, others say they’re not able to do it themselves. The stability and hardware availability are also mixed aspects, with one customer reporting the bar randomly falling away from the wall and another noting missing mounting hardware. Customers express frustration about the lack of English instructions.

Sturdy
My 88 year old father is having more balance issues making me nervous when he goes in or out of my garage door where there’s a few steps but no railing. I was going to install myself but it seemed more involved so I had my brother install it. I’m sure I could have installed it but it would just taken longer. It’s very sturdy and it folds up nicely when not in use.

Great bar
Easy to install. Sturdy. Allows for more width on toilet set ( if you know what I mean) Folds up out of way to accommodate use by others that don’t need bar.

Came apart at the wall
We used this as a bed side aid. We bought in March of 2021. My husband isn’t a big man 180# max. It appeared to be loose at the wall. When he used it to get up, it completely came apart. The spot welding on the back of the wall mount plate, was very poor. I have ordered another one, as he really needs it. But I will check to make sure the welds are enough to hold it together. Thank you

Good value.
Appears that this will work well for us.Easy to install but you will need to use your own hardware unless you are installing in masonry.Directions are only in Chinese.

Toilet Grab Bar
The Toilet Grab Bar came on time and needed a little assembly to get ready to mount. The product came in 8 parts plus mounting screws and plastic expansions for wall. The mounting flanges for the wall are fastened with a screw into the bar assembly with the cover plate slipped into place after anchoring to wall. The flanges are rotatable until securely tightened to get the best screw position on the wall. Once the position of the flange is known the screws for the mounting flanges need to be tightened to the bar securely. The vertical support to the floor is fastened to the main lower bar by way of a substantial screw. All in all the product should work great. Need to mount it at a friends home yet.

Perfect for my elderly grandparents
My grandmother has trouble with steadily walking, especially at night, and even with a walker, was having difficulty getting up and down off the commode. Enter these, and she is delighted! Now she can back up with her walker, then grab on and pull and push herself up and down safely. When not in use, they hinge out of the way. Perfect addition to keep her independent at night.

This product fails to support indicated weight. Welds failed. Poorly manufactured all around.
I originally had the longer version (30”) of this product professionally installed. Problems with the installation were immediately apparent as the entire product flexed under load. I thought that using a shorter length might help out and ordered the 26” version. It arrived with the box pierced and some of the mounting hardware missing. I requested a replacement which arrived shortly thereafter. I next took the time to more closely inspect the product. When I did, I discovered a number of problems that render this product unusable, especially for larger body sizes. The mounting plate is the thinnest of all flip up grab bars that I have since encountered. The mounting plate has been cut into to form the bracketing for the grab bar, further weakening the mounting plate. The mounting plate has been countersunk for the mounting hardware, but the countersinks are too deep further weakening the mounting of the grab bar (to boot, the countersinks have not been cleaned of machining oil and debris). The welds for the vertical stiffeners in the grab are poor and gave way when using the 30” grab bar. The pivot point for the grab bar is poorly designed and will not be able to remain stable through regular grab bar flips.

Great grab bar!
Love love love this grab bar. My husband and I are late 80s now and not as sure on our feet as when younger. We have bathroom door near top of down stairs threshold. We put this on wall at top of stairs where we can drop the guard down at night so we will never worry about a tumble down stairs when we visit the bathroom at night. We raise it up during days to accommodate younger family members who can still run upstairs like gazelles. At night there is still room for them to pass through with plenty of space on the side with a hand rail. Great invention. As we get older, one of these will be perfect to use by toilet for lifting up.
