Great Daily Choice of Bread for Good Health -Get it… Eat it
I ate this for decades on/off and haven’t bought it in many years, so I wonder if they changed something. I always remembered this bread being dense/heavy to the point of stuffy (and healthy but a little off-putting to me for that reason). Maybe they changed something or started slicing it much thinner, but I was shocked at how light this bread is (way lighter in texture than say Dave’s Killer, which is also great). The nutrition profile is just way better than almost every other commercial supermarket bread. Frozen isn’t ideal but that’s how it comes and how they can keep it fresh while distributing to us -I just heat it in a dry frying pan on both sides a few minutes and tastes great. There is an inner wrapping, so I just throw away the outer wrapping and toss the inner package in the freezer (covid safety) -so no washing the bread wrapper or repackaging in a large ziploc.Texture is so delightful and makes for a great light sandwich bread or something to spread things on for a healthy snack. It’s so high in protein, which works for most people. Food For Life also offers gluten free and low sodium varieties and raisin breads and different types (flax, sesame, wheat). Great company with an amazingly nutritious sprouted and flourless product line. If you like a heavy, dense bread… this is not for you. This works great for me as an everyday breakfast bread… scrambled eggs with mushrooms and leeks and two slices of this bread on the side topped with black sesame seed butter. PBJ, cream cheese, hummus, guac, would all taste great on this bread as well as any type of sandwich. Highly recommend (unless you like a denser bread -than go for Dave’s but it’s simply not as nutritious as this).

Finally found my go-to healthy bread
I’ve been buying this for months and wish I’d found it sooner. Every “healthy” bread I tried was either rock hard or tasted like cardboard but this one is different.First thing you notice when toasted is the flavor – nutty and warm, nothing artificial. The texture is way lighter than expected, not dense at all. I keep mine in the freezer and just pull out slices as needed. Pro tip – let them thaw 30 seconds before separating or they’ll crack. The protein content is impressive – 5 grams per slice keeps me full way longer than regular bread. Great for everything from PB&J to avocado toast.Only downside is you have to keep it cold or it goes bad fast, but that’s because no preservatives. I’d rather have fresh bread that needs the fridge than something sitting on shelves for months.Highly recommend.

God really is the best bread maker! (Ezekiel 4:9)
Been eating Ezekiel bread for years. It’s one of the only types of bread I will allow myself to have while adhering as best I can to the ketovore/carnivore diet (no sugars/starches), due to personal health issues. After also learning more about the dangers and pitfalls of the American diet, eating more healthy and “clean” is paramount as I get older.Ezekiel bread, to me, is best lightly toasted, otherwise, it can be a bit…rough on the mouth (discovered through experience). I also love the English muffins! I like knowing that Ezekiel products have much fewer, much more wholesome ingredients (ingredients you can actually pronounce!). If you can’t pronounce them, you probably shouldn’t be eating them! The only downside to E-bread is the price. Some of my local markets are selling single loaves for upwards of $10 each. I don’t know if that’s based on the company itself, or the grocery stores, but it’s not a pleasant aspect. And the loaves are a bit smallish, but that’s just my opinion, and it won’t stop me from buying the best bread out there!

    Great taste
It’s my first time trying this bread though I’ve heard about it for years. I just put in the toaster for a bit and it turned out great. In my opinion it’s much better than flour bread. I don’t think I’d go back.
