So much better than the previous generation of Gait Belts
If you have ever used a traditional gait belt, you know it has a couple of shortcomings – namely there’s no great way to hold the person by the belt without sticking your hand under it awkwardly, and the buckle mechanism can be confusing and unintuitive. This belt solves both of those problems. The adjustable length with buckle closure is so much better than the old style. Also, the integrated vertical and horizontal handles are awesome! You can really stabilize a person so much better and easier with this new configuration. The old gait belt is officially retired, and this one just took its place!

Good tool for lifting someone who needs assistance
The transfer belt is really well-built. Upon inspecting the material, I was pleased with the quality of the stitching. The handles seems durable enough to support the weight of a person’s body. On the side that faces the person being supported, there is a cushion stitched for their comfort. The buckle seemed easy to click together and disconnect as well as easy to adjust the size to better fit around that person. The only thing I wish this came with was instructions in the box. Overall this seems like a good product if you need to assist someone with mobility challenges.
