Customers say

Customers find the handrail to be a quality product that’s easy to install and sturdy. They appreciate its functionality, with one customer noting it helps with mobility after knee replacement, and they feel more secure while using it. However, the alignment receives mixed feedback, with several customers reporting it’s crooked. Additionally, the handrail shows signs of rusting within two weeks of installation, and customers have mixed opinions about the included drywall screws.

Great railing for anyone needing something to hold onto while stepping up.
An elderly friend of mine needed a railing in his garage to assist him with stepping up into his home. I looked extensively on Amazon for a good railing. Most of the ones being offered were just a straight railing that either were fully horizontal or angled down from the attachment point. This one was different. It angles down from the attachment point, then goes horizontal. It makes much more sense. I one of them on each side of the door. Now my friend is much more confident and secure when stepping up into his home. These rails are very sturdy, look good and have everything included to attach them to the wall. Easy to install.

    Easy to install!
I’m 76 and have no patience when I want something done, I contacted two carpenters to please come over and install my stair hand rail. I knew the base plate was a little wider for the wall between my doors but put on my thinking cap. The section is only 2.8” and base plate is 3”- so I got a piece of wood & cut it to fit between my doors, I cut it the exact length of the base plate. Attached the wood piece w/2 sided skinny carpet tape! That held the wood in place, put rail to area marked for screws, drilled the 6 screw hole for starter, balanced the rail with one arm & screwed in 1 screw, then by myself able to finish the rest of the 5 screws. It’s lighter in color than my doors but at this point I don’t care as it is up, I did it all by myself & it is super strong & solid! I won’t fall bringing stuff down from main home upstairs such as packages or laundry. I live in mother in law apt under main home.I’d been wanting to do this for years, because I had a custom door built when we moved in (for privacy) I had to have a large stair landing extension built so my steps are not code so it took forever to find a railing to accommodate my stair landing into my apartment!Well it’s perfect size for my particular need!AND only took me 1 hour to install all byMyself! I’m very pleased as I’m super picky!!! Decided to paint the railing to match my walks, so sanded it down & got exact metal spray paint to match my wall! Now I’m happy even more!

Excellent quality – No more slips or falls.
It took my son and husband about an hour to install. My son used his own hardware – what comes with the railing wasn’t going to do the job. He drilled into the door frame on the right side. The left side had to go into the drywall but put a piece of wood evened it and gave it support. It’s very sturdy. I love how easy it is to grip because of the angle. I just had knee surgery and it has been a Godsend. My mother will love it when she visits. She also has a hard time using steps. We are very happy with our purchase.

    Great railing
This worked great. We had purchased one to go on the stairs and didn’t like the room it took up. This one is so much nicer and very sturdy. We did add a board to the wall to attach it like instructions say on web if you need to make sure in wall studs.
