Setup was easy, batteries last a long time (unless put into a fridge/freezer), and accurate!
These use a single AAA battery, and depending on the location of the hub and the AAA battery used, they last a long time!The setup was easy using the app, and I do have it connected to Govee’s cloud so I can access the Hygrometer Thermometer information when out of the house. The hub found the devices without issue, and I was able to add them.I like the Bluetooth feature, as these can be used without a hub, though using a hub is better for the longevity of batteries and WiFi access. I wish the hub included with this pack could have more than 10 devices connected to it, as I’d like to place more Hygrometer Themometers than just 10 of them. Another downside to the hub is that it will ONLY work with HS100s.I have one HS100 outside, then others inside the house in the Kitchen, living room, dining room, Bedroom, and Server Room (aka Spare Bedroom). I have alerts set for temperature and humidity for the server room, as my servers and network gear care a bit more about both! And I occasionally get alerts for both.As for accuracy, the Dining Room HS100 temperature matches very closely to the Thermostat that is in the same room, even though the Thermostat only does full F degrees and not partial.As for battery life, I am using Panasonic Eneloop and EBL AAA batteries. I have noticed that the EBL AAAs drain faster than Eneloop AAAs, so they need to be replaced more often and recharged.I placed one of the HS100s in my fridge, and the battery did not last long, maybe a month if I was lucky. So get the Govee Hygrometer Thermometer that requires three batteries if you want these in a fridge or Freezer.These were my first Govee devices, but I have now bought some light bulbs. I have found that Govee devices I purchased are very good quality, and I will buy more Govee devices, including more HS100s.

Possibly the best customer service ever encountered
First I must say that the in app customer service is the best I have ever encountered. I purchased this item two years ago and enjoyed being able to monitor temperatures and humidity around the house from anywhere in the world. The sensors are Bluetooth and can be accessed through the app when at home. But the Wi-Fi gateway allows sensors to be read through Wi-Fi.The gateway failed recently after two years but I was still able to monitor through Bluetooth when at home. The app allows users to report issues, which I did. They offered ways to reset gateway which unfortunately did not work. Then they offered to send a replacement gateway, which is only offered with the three sensors. So I received the new gateway and it booted up perfectly first time, plus I have 3 additional sensors to add to my network.KUDOS to Govee customer support, thanks!

A great system.
I first bought this kit of 3 sensors with WIFI hub about a year and a half ago, when I had our heat pump replaced. I liked it right away, and I ordered an additional 6 sensors within 2 weeks of the initial purchase.We have a large house, with one thermostat located in the Livivng Room. I placed 8 of the sensors in various rooms in the house, and 1 outside on the deck. It turns out the temp in the Living Room was not representative of the conditions in the other rooms in the house.Before I placed these sensors around the house, I set them all next to each and let them sit for an hour.They all reported temp and humidity readings very close to each other, with temps being usually 1 degree different. The difference between the highest and lowest was only about 1.5 degs different. Each unit can be adjusted up or down to make the temps match exactly.What I like about these:They are accurate.They are small and inconspicuous.They use 1 AAA battery which lasts a few months.They notify you, via the app when the batteries get low.They continuously log the temp and humidity readings.You can see a graph of the readings in the app, over a time span that you choose, over hours, over 1 day, over several days, over weeks and months.I did not want to go through the trouble of moving my heat pump thermostat to another location in the house. I use the Govee sensors to set the thermostat so that I get the temps that I want in the locations that we are in, i.e. the Family Room, Master Bedroom.I think these Govee sensors are very practical, and well worth the money.I just bought another set of sensors with WIFI Hub for our weekend home, with which I’ll be able to keep tabs on the temps and humidity conditions when we aren’t there. ( We’re most concerned about the humidity getting too high while we are not there).

Works great! Not thrilled that it’s something probably made in china. But it works for what I need, and that is to remotely monitor temps. Easy setup. Easy to use app. Has 3 sensors so you can monitor different areas of a building or outside. One battery in each. Seems to last fairly long, even on the one outside when its freezing cold all winter. Probably change the battery once or twice a year. As long as you have wifi for it to connect to, you’ll be able to remotely monitor temp and humidity levels from anywhere using the app. And its nice to see historical data too, and the weather trends over various periods of time. It’ll show the min and the max temps, as well as the overall average of the temp swings too.
