Peace of Mind!
We have had numerous leaks in our home. It’s all part of homeownership but these give us a little peace of mind. Very easy to set up. Literally put batteries in, set them in areas you may experience a leak. The app works great too. If it detects water, the device itself alarms (loudly) and the app alerts you too! Nice to have if you’re not home. It comes with a “home” unit that simply plugs into a standard outlet and receives the signal from the individual sensors. I placed one under the kitchen sink, near the water heater, and under a bathroom sink. They are a good value for the money and have a slick design.

If you’re a homeowner, these are a must have to protect your home and belongings.Installation is fairly easy—keep in mind the directions are probably written by someone who doesn’t speak English as their primary language. If you think like an engineer or programmer while you’re installing, it will go that much easier. What I’m saying is that there are assumed steps that aren’t listed.The pictures and most of the diagrams are extremely small and the instructions are printed on a small 3×3 inch booklet, hence the font is small. I wasn’t able to find a webpage with the directions—which would have been that much easier. The app is ok—again think like a programmer/engineer for navigation as it’s not intuitive.I tested the leak detectors—worked great.

This Govee Water Leak Alarm literally saved us from a disaster! We got a prompt alert on our phone when there was a water leak in our basement, and we were able to stop it before any real damage happened. The setup was super easy, and the alarm sound is loud enough to hear right away. I love how reliable it is definitely worth having for peace of mind. Highly recommend it for anyone with a basement or water heater areaP

Very easy to set up. Simple process and helpful app.Have had no leaks so far.Humidity sensor feels very sturdy.Sensor connected to app on first try. Good device range. I have the sensor in the basement and alarm in the kitchen.App interface is very simple and quick to navigate.

Great Value for the Money
Incredible. These water leak detectors are easily setup and function as advertised. I tested each one before placing them and all worked great. Their reception range is perfect throughout my 1850sq ft home. The app works well and so far so good. I hope that I’ll never receive a notification from this app but I’m sure if there’s a leak I’ll know about it, sooner than later. You also see the battery levels of each detector, on the app, so it’s easy to determine when batteries need changing (they are supposed to last several years and use standard triple A batteries).

I got these to help check for water leaks in my new home. They were easy to set up and link up to my phone so I can check them when I am not there. The app is easy to use and tells you the battery life of each sensor. You can also name the sensors in the app so you know where they were placed. For the alarm part you can choose how loud you want it to be.

This is a lifesaver! We have gone through several flooding issues over the years- broken water pipes, hurricane damage, washing machine leaks and 3 remodels as a result. With Govee, we can monitor our potential flooding areas and be alerted the moment a problem is beginning rather than coming home to a devastating result.We have some of the older generation Govee monitors and recently bought the newer generation, and they all work fine but you have to set them up with their particular hub. We use them all together without any problem, but the newer ones have longer range, louder alerts and more capability so as our older ones age out, we will continue to upgrade.

Great deal – these can cost as much for a single unit. Having all three ganged allows for easier overview, and makes set up much easier. The units are small, and establish a very secure and strong connection in the home. The accompanying app allows a wide range of features but easy remote notifications sent by mail or text when you aren’t home is a reassuring feature!

The water detector was as described but had to watch several YouTube videos to figure out how to get it paired with the Wi-Fi and my phone. Tested the individual units and alarms is VERY loud which is great for hearing from the basement. Not sure if the battery will last 5 years because after testing 1 bar of the battery was used. Hopefully will not have water issues but comforted knowing that I will be notified before major damage occurs.

This is a nice product and it does reliably send alerts when there’s a water leak—which is exactly what it’s supposed to do. However, the batteries drain quite quickly, which is a bit frustrating. If the battery life were better, it would be an easy recommendation.

Nice integration in Govee app.(Leaving in a condo building) As the property management are in general doing poor job in maintaining building water pipes (not considering having in place adequate measures of collecting and removing debris from pipes), I consider having these leak detectors to prevent any floods, I.e. washrooms, sinks, cases of water back flow.
