16 inch handrail
My concrete stairs are awkward sizes and needed a handrail for help with maneuvering this obstacle. Handrail feels well made, powder coated. It was 25° F last night. There was frost on the handrail and it was definitely cold. Not a deal breaker though, I don’t plan on holding on to it forever. I reinforced the back of existing wood with a 2×4 because the screws were longer than the existing wood and for sturdiness. I used a 3/8 drill bit for the plastic things. For the screw itself, a 3/8 socket was just a tad to big so I used a 10mm that fit perfectly. Took me some time to get it in place but now I know the second one I install will be a piece of cake!
