Very age appropriate.
I bought this book to read to my to boys to help them understand more of what is to come for our family. My oldest was diagnosed with JHD and is showing decline, this booked helped me in a appropriate way to teach both of them. My oldest recently was told that he has a disease and we put on a name on it. Reading was helpful for little brother to help and better understand his brother and also us because of the different treatment he receives. JHD and HD is hard on all family members but its always better to be open to kids about what is going on. Thank You Emma Terrranova for such a great resource for children who have this in their family

This is an excellent book for explaining HD to children, purchased to explain to my 6 year old about his Papa

I use the book with my daughter Bella so we can talk through what she sees is happening with mummy – she is more often worried about why mummy is angry or wobbly so addressing that anxiety first is easy to do with the book using Harry’s story to compare with her own experience. I’ve found with other books that describing the detail about genetics often distracts from this and then results in the inevitable situation of finding yourself trying to explain genetics to a 6 year old

Thank you so much for making this as much as it breaks my heart the possibility I am gene positive and my son might be as a result this book has started a conversation. A conversation I hope ends the why we hope but whatever happens makes this journey as a family an easier one 💚💚
