Great blanket but shuts off too soon
Update after one year: Still works after not using the heat all spring and summer! Since it’s so soft I use it all year round and was pleasantly surprised when I attached the heating unit today and found it still works great.This blanket is nice and soft and really comfortable. It heats up quickly and it gets really warm, so much so that I’ve never had to put it on the higher heat levels.My only issue is the auto shut off after three hours. I put it on my bed to keep me and my elderly doggie warm and really wish it would stay on all night. Instead we wake up freezing at some point. I understand about the overheating danger and why this safety feature exists but is it really necessary to kick in when it’s on the lowest heat setting? My own fault I guess because it clearly states this in the item description, which I overlooked when I purchased it.

Quality material
Bought this for my husband’s grandma. It is great quality for the price. It’s very soft and has several different heat settings. She has really enjoyed it during the winter months.

This is not a heating pad, the instruction booklet even says so, but still useful.
This blanket is very soft and lightweight. On the highest setting, I would consider this comfortably warm. It would take the chill out of the air or gently warm you, it is not a heating pad. The strength of the heat is a little light for my liking on the highest setting, but for resting, or delicate skin or a chilly room, it would work well. I ordered yellow – the color is pleasing and soft. I will keep mine but this would not replace a heating pad.

It works beautifully and gets the bed toasty. Tried it last night for the first time at the highest level and it worked perfectly. I think I can actually go lower on the settings. We use it when we first get into bed, while watching tv or reading, then unplug for the night before we fall asleep. Love this.The “red” is more like a soft burnt orange, but it still worked for me because we cover it with a bedspread for the daytime.

Electrical contact broken already!!
I bought this product back in March 2025. Already the electrical cord is broken! One of the prongs snapped off, so there is not a tight fit and the blanket doesn’t work anymore.What a waste of money, another cheap item from China. Boycott Amazon.

My new favourite item especially now that the cold weather is setting in! Very, very soft and cozy, and I like how there are 5 different heat settings – you can adjust the temperature with a couple of clicks. The highest setting is a bit too hot for my tastes so I keep it around 3 or 4. Heats up very quickly and it’s been great for warming up my bed before I get in at night. Recommended!

If you’re searching for the warmest, cosiest and fluffiest electric blanket — place in your cart now, this is it. I’ve had on my bed for a few weeks and I’m in love! Wash it first when it arrives (super easy), then enjoy. The 5 settings are great but 5 is really warm so be warned 🙂 The 3 hour auto shut-off is peace of mind when sleeping at night or napping during the day. I absolutely love this blanket.I live in Canada and wanted a heated blanket to keep me warm on the couch through the cold winter months. I struggle with stay warm and I hate having piles of blankets on me or putting on extra layers of clothing. So far it’s doing great job! It heats up quickly and stays warm for the hours it’s supposed to. Even my kids love it, we love snuggling under it during movie nights!The only complaint I have is the thickness, I was hoping it would be a little more fluffy and heavy/thick. Thus the 4 star rating.
