I was initially skeptical, but….
….I really like this blanket! When I first opened the box, I will admit I was disappointed. It seemed like it was cheaply made. It didn’t feel that soft just touching the folded blanket, and I thought “oh oh, not what I expected”. I went and re-read some reviews and saw some complaints about it not getting warm enough. Eek! I didn’t take it out of the box for a few days, thinking I may just return it, but it got cold and my other electric throw had gone belly up and I wanted a heated blanket on me while watching tv on the couch! So, I went ahead, unboxed it and plugged it in. It is surprisingly soft and fluffy, despite looking like the one side was all piled up from use. And, to my joy, it was nicely warm on level 3. I didn’t even bother going higher cause 3 was sufficient and comfortable. So, I am glad I didn’t let me initial first judgement sway my use. There were no strange odors, it is very warm, nicely soft and the fact that the material looks like it’s been used, I don’t think it has been. I just think that’s how the blanket is. And let’s face it, this isn’t the MOST expensive choice out there. It is less expensive than other heated throws, so I’m not going to be a stickler. It is a nice blanket that does the job! My lap cat is happy, too, cause she loves heated blankets as much as I do!

Updated review: not working right after only a few weeks
Update/Edit: At first this blanket was great. Now, only a few weeks after buying it, it doesn’t fully work. When I turn it on, only sections are warming up, and other (large) sections don’t seem to heat at all. Would not recommend.Was looking for ways to turn down the heat in my house and save money over the long term. Invested in a wearable blanket (also awesome), and this electric blanket. I have this lining my sofa in my tv room and it is sooooooooo comfy. Has 5 levels of heat, with an automatic shutoff. This is one of the best things I’ve ever bought! Am considering getting a second one to line my bed, even though I already have a bazillion blankets on that, haha.

Good quality useful electric blanket
Wonderful blanket and works so well! Even keeping it on low is so good throughout the night. Keeps us warm and cozy. No problems with it and looks great even after wash!

Heated blanket
Love this blanket!! The control has 5 settings. The settings 1&2 are pretty mild. Really need to set on 3/4/5 to get heat. Overall this blanket is very soft and cozy.

Good gift
Bought for gift for friend she loves it says its very soft and a pretty good size I bought it on sale too! Good gift for the colder months definitely would recommend! Set up is pretty easy and it can be washed just have to follow instructions oh how to safely wash it!

Fuzzy and warms up quick!
I bought this for my Mom, but had to try it out first. The size is your average throw blanket just enough to lay it on you but not wrap yourself in it. The temp at the highest setting is hot, but it warmed up very quickly which is perfect for being comfortable in the winter. The Sherpa is gonna get crumbs and stay in it unless you really try to work it out but it detatches from the power cord for easy washing. I recommend this as a gift for anyone who is always cold and likes comfort Items because now I want one.

This blanket is SO soft! Once you plug it up, it only takes a few minutes and you will be toasty! I love the auto shut-off feature, incase I accidently leave it on. This is definitely worth buying if you are always cold and your husband is hot! Lol

I’ll admit, I was very skeptical when I bought this. I felt like heating blankets were sort of a scam, but after using this blanket EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. for 4 months, I am ready to admit that I was very, very wrong. I use this blanket while I’m at my desk (working from home). Our building is poorly insulated but with this blanket and a light jacket, I can work at 14°C-15°C without any issues for hours on end (thus saving on electricity).I was surprised at how warm this gets: it’s not as hot as they’d like you to believe, but I can sense the warmth shutting off at the three hours mark every single time. I always use the highest setting. It heats up quickly and the warmth is dry, cozy, and pretty discreet. The blanket itself is a bit thin (I’d say 1cm) and the sherpa side doesn’t stay soft or pure white for very long. The orange color is pretty nice and the seams look solid. It’s sturdy and I’m not afraid of moving it around, but I’m still careful to not bend the heating wires inside. I haven’t tried to clean it yet, but I’ll try to remember to update this review when I do.The only flaw of the blanket in my opinion is the controller. It’s in the middle of the rigid electric wire (which is around 6 feet long), so it’s always just a bit out of reach for me. It’s really not a deal-breaker, but I wish it was a little closer to the blanket (or directly on it?). I’m still really happy with this blanket and I think it’s the best purchase I made in 2023. I’m probably going to gift some to my friends and family!2025 UPDATE: Three canadian winters later, I love this blanket just as much as I did back in 2023! It still works flawlessly and I put it in the washing machine a couple of time without any issue. The sherpa side is more grey than white now, though.

I love this electric throw. It’s just the right size for me. I can use it in my favourite chair for when I’m watching tv. And I also like to put it on my side of the bed, between my sheets and my comforter and I’ll turn it on about 15 minutes before bed so when I get in, it’s nice and toasty warm. It turns itself off after three hours so that is good too. I did find the cord too short for my bed and am using an extension cord with it. When I’m in my chair, the cord is long enough for that. And when it shuts off after 3 hours, it stops generating heat but the controller stays lit up, you physically have to turn the controller off.

I’m not entirely sure what to think of this blanket. I like it but it’s not nearly as good as my previous one while was the same price. I know inflation is a thing and it may have affected the prices, but this seems to have gone way lower in product quality.The material is okay, but the details really count. Some of which are, the plug seems poorly sewed onto the blanket, the plug itself has only one button (you can’t decide when it’s going to auto turn off), and the top part seems fluffy but lacks that velvet feeling a bit.

I’m here now covered and comforted. The timer and levels are great depending on desired temperature. So far I have not had any issues. I would have wanted grey color to match bedding but a sale is a sale. The color is nice in all fairness and it has a soft feel.
