Best Idea. No Down Time
These gloves have been wonderful! I have repetitive use strains in both hands and wrists. I’m guessing the pain & symptoms are similar to arthritis and carpal tunnel. They are healing but very slowly and still painful. They feel very soothing and the fabric is soft and comfortable. My hands have been so injured that I am unable to pull open the velcro straps around the wrist, so we just fastened the strap loosely enough to slip into the glove and never adjust the strap. The fabric is stretchy so that hasn’t been a problem. I’m also sure the consistent icing has helped with the progress I’m making in healing. Best part is that they’re lightweight and I can still work at my laptop and around the house because my fingertips are open for the keyboard and my whole hand is functional. So there’s no real down time. The other hand ice packs I bought first are like heavy mittens and I had to sit or lie down for the whole icing time when I used those. That caused me to put it off and not ice as frequently as I needed.Another thing I really like about these gloves is I can take them out of the freezer and put them on right away because the gel never freezes hard like a lot of other ice packs that get stiff and need to melt a little to be flexible.Lastly, they stay cold for a good amount of time. I started with just one (buying a 2nd now just for convenience) I can easily use one glove and swap it after 10 to 15 minutes to my less injured hand and they stay cold enough for the same amount of time on that side. I don’t think they stay super cold as long as the bulkier heavier ice packs, but there’s no need. These also seem to freeze up faster than the traditional packs, so I’ve been thrilled with the purchase. They’re well made and I’m definitely getting my value for the money.One more note, I wear a women’s small in gloves, so I have lots of room in these. They are a bit too large, but they still hug my fingers and stay on well, so no complaints.

Great but the velcro strap is tough
This is great for achy hands. The glove provides a snug, very cold freeze to sore joints & tendons. It’s fabulous. If I could change 1 thing it would be the super-stick velcro that wraps around the wrist. My aching fingers can’t deal with the velcro. I need that snug feeling on my wrist but the velcro is too hard to peel apart.

Comfortable cold compress for hand
This cooling glove was just the right thing I needed for swollen and tired hands after a long day at work. I left it in the freezer overnight and then put it on the first time after a day in the garden. Its size stretches to fit most hands, so that wasn’t a concern. It provides some light compression as well and becomes ice cold in the freezer. It looks to be well made and sturdy.

Well made but lose temperature quickly
Glove is sturdy and well made. When cold they feel great. But: when kept in fridge they stay cold 9 minutes. When kept in freezer they are too cold and painful to use immediately so same problem. A shame they don’t hold the cold longer. Not very practical.

Have Dupytrens contracture so the palms of my hands get inflamed and ache. This glove does a good job of lessening the inflammation and aching. A little big for my small hands, but still does a good job
