Awesome manual blood pressure monitor
Awesome manual blood pressure cuff! You can put it on your self easy as it has a metal clasp that helps you tighten it with one hand. It comes with a key to adjust the manometer. The stethoscope that comes with it you can hear very clearly. Great product! I am a registered nurse and this is a great product and easy to use.

Perfect for everyday home use and my emergency kit.
For this fantastic price, I was not expecting medical grade equipment that typically costs hundreds of dollars (I ordered this for my emergency supplies kit), but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this set. It looks and feels really nice and comes with a convenient carrying case.Good thing the blood pressure gauge came with the adjustment key because mine was slightly off when it arrived. The instructions were very helpful and easy to follow. It was good as new with a partial twist of a key.The stethoscope was able to cling tightly to my ears so no outside noise interfered. I tried to bend them out a little because they really press in (almost to the point where it plugged my ears) due to the binaural spring being so tight. It helped a little, and hopefully they’ll loosen up over time.I was able to easily use it by myself, by placing the cuff on my left arm, the diaphragm of the chest piece over my artery (under the cuff), and setting the manometer Gauge in my lap (I was semi sitting up on my bed). Then, while holding the inflation bulb in my right hand, (with the bulb facing up), and my fingers on the air release valve (as shown in my photos), I was able to easily release the pressure as I read the gauge.My memory capacity isn’t what it used to be, so I keep notes. It’s important to recognize variations, so I record everything in a digital log.The readings were spot on with my digital readings, so this set functions perfectly. The numbers are are little small and difficult to read if your eyesight isn’t great (I just had to set it closer to me), but it gives me peace of mind to have handy.

Works, but less-than-impressive build quality…
This manual blood pressure cuff and stethoscope set seems to work — if one can overcome the challenges of trying to use it on oneself. It’s marketed for home use, but it isn’t really optimally designed for that purpose. It’s difficult to use on oneself despite the promotional video/image material suggesting that’s the intended use.As for blood pressure readings, it gave me readings that were close to, but not fully, accurate. The build quality is also not very good (the stethoscope is particularly flimsy), so I don’t expect it to hold up well over time. Even at the current purchase price of $24.27, this doesn’t seem to be a very good value since one can pick up a more reliable and easier-to-use digital monitor for not much more.Someone with a lot of patience or more skill/training might get use out of this (it might be best as a back-up, though), but it doesn’t really effectively serve my needs.

This manual blood pressure kit is very accurate and easy to use. The aneroid gauge is clear and easy to read, and the stethoscope works perfectly for precise measurements. I trust it for regular checks at home.

Homedics Manual Arm Blood Pressure Monitor with Stethoscope, Easy-to-Read Aneroid Gauge, Adjustable Nylon Cuff 9”-17”, D-Ring Fastener, Aluminum Chest Piece, Latex-FreeThis price and quality of this product are both entry level on a budget and I have adjusted my rating as such. The pieces are functional and do what they are supposed to do. The stethoscope works great and it easy to use. The blood pressure monitor works but the blue cuff is not made with the best quality and is a little awkward to wear but overall the fit is good and the bulb pumps up to appropriate pressure.I personally prefer using the manual method of taking blood pressure vs the automatic cuffs for accuracy and portability- unless I am taking my own blood pressure and for that I use an automatic cuff.

Cheaply made. Very poor stethoscope.
I was very disappointed in the product. Even though the cuff monitor is barely acceptable, the stethoscope is a throwaway.At $24, I wasn’t expecting much, but this thing shouldn’t even be sold. The stethoscope is pretty much a discount store kid’s toy.HoMedics, not known for high quality stuff to begin with, should be ashamed of their effort. I’ll keep the monitor for an emergency car kit, but will have to buy a medically-quality stethoscope.Not at all recommended.⭐️1 star — I don’t recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars — I don’t recommend it: has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars — It’s passable: it has some faults, but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars — Product quite acceptable, and it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars — Product that I totally recommend.

it is very useful for my family. i used for my parents. The adjustable nylon cuff fits comfortably on arms ranging from 9” to 17” and is easy to secure with the D-ring fastener. Taking manual blood pressure readings has become straightforward, thanks to the clear aneroid gauge and single-head stethoscope with an aluminum chest piece. The device is also well-packaged, coming with a storage case and an instruction manual.
