Makes capturing food much easier.
For anyone with tremors and weakness in their hands this helps trap food on the dish without shoving it of the dish.

The red healps those with sight issues or dementia eat more. They focus in on their food.

Nice Set, But Plastic is Easily Damaged
Got this set for my elderly mom, who has dementia. She sometimes flips food off of her plate or spills food from her bowl because the dementia makes it hard for her to control her movements and balance sometimes. The higher rims around the sides of the plates and bowls help her to better control where the food goes, or in her case, doesn’t go. The only downside is the plates really show cut marks if you cut meat or anything on them. The easy solution I’ve found, a bit late, lol, is to cut her meat on something else first before I put it on her plate. Problem solved. The plates and bowls do seem pretty sturdy though, and I haven’t had any problems using them in the microwave. All in all, not a bad set. Just make sure not to cut on them, and everything should be fine.

Useful sets of plates and bowls
We already have weighted utensils and spoons designed for our patient who has tremors and hand mobility issues due to a stroke, so I wasn’t sure these bowls would add any benefit. However, they do! Attaching the bowl or plate to a serving tray makes things easier, and the shape of the bowls makes it much simpler for him to get food onto his spork. This improvement, combined with the specially-designed utensils, has made eating much easier for him. These plates and bowls offer another small piece of independence, and we will certainly be ordering more.

Overpriced
The Hushee 2 Sets Spill Proof Scoop Plate and Bowl comes with 2 bowls and 2 plates. The bowls and plates are made from plastic. Each one is curved, which makes it easier for people to scoop up their food. I got these for my six year old son, as I wanted to get some bowls/plates which don’t slide around the table. These do have some tension against surfaces, but they are not foolproof. If you push on them just a little bit, they will move around.I deducted stars for two reasons. The first is that there is a black rubber ring on the bottom of each piece. This piece comes out and is not that easy to put back in. The second reason is that they are very overpriced. When I told my mom the price, she said she thought that I got them from a local dollar store.
