Works well
Works well though a larger tool is needed for wider jars and I do wish I’d seen the upgraded version with a hinge, before purchasing this one. Color goes nicely with blues and greens of my kitchenaid tools. Good for arthritis. Won’t cure the pain but does make opening bottles accessible

Easy to use
Easy to use, gets the job done. I have small, arthritic hands and I have problems opening bottles. This is so easy and so helpful even my big, 6’4″ , husband is using it! I liked it so much I got one for my daughter!

Required Kitchen Tools
Arrived in perfect condition. I can’t believe how we have gone without these REQUIRED kitchen tools. Super easy to use and fit most popular jar, bottles, tabs, etc. I grabbed a brand new jar of preserves, carefully spread open the device to fit. Slipped it over the jar lid and in less than 2 seconds the jar was open. The handles are very durable for squeezing and releasing the lids. The grip is ergonomically correct. The thickness on both tools is perfect for everyday use. I personally think that all kitchens – both residential and commercial – should have these tools. Fast – Easy – Safe !

Gets the job done
The jar opener works very well. I used it to get the stuck-on lid off of a jar of honey. It was easier than my bare hand but still required a bit of force. May have been the honey though (that stuff sticks like concrete) so I’ll edit after I’ve opened more jars.I had hoped the little opener would help with the pop-top cans. I’m on blood thinners & sometimes they bruise my finger. The slotted side is too thick to get under the tab so you still need to get it started but, once its up, the “pull” side works good. It did a fantastic job pulling out the plastic tab on a carton of cream this morning.I’m middle of the road with the set. They work good enough for young to middle aged people but, right now, I think that too much brute strength is necessary to recommend it for the elderly.

Handy little tool.
I can a lot of vegetables, including green beans, salsa, tomato sauce, pasta sauce, chopped jalapenos. You name it. After the jars cool some are very difficult to open. This handy little tool works great. I was using a pipe wrench before. It was very heavy and made of metal. Not good. This is sturdy and simple to use. I knew Amazon would have something that would be very helpful. I’m not sure if it’s big enough to open anything much bigger than regular canning jar lids. Give a shot.
