Works for elderly
Got this for my parents. They like how it can store with a magnet, and that it works good on opening things. Took them few trys to understand how to adjust it for the size of each can, but now they say it works great.

Quit Working
Worked fine for opening two jars. After that it would only slip around jar lids and not grip at all. The teeth look fine and are not misaligned, and the locking mechanism appears to function. It just will not work.I’m trying to return it, but I threw away the original box it came in and I’m trying to find out if it can be shipped back to the seller.

Chinese made
It works, but a little flimsy. So far, it’s doing the job.

Not all that great.
Just got opener today and immediately tried it out on a soda bottle cap (see photo). While the device easily opens and works as described, the metal “jaws” had trouble gripping the tiny ridges on the bottle cap. The cap just wouldn’t turn to open and the edges of the cap look frayed. I mainly bought this opener for these soda bottles as gripping small things with arthritic hands is difficult for me. I’m not a beer drinker so bottles with metal caps won’t ever be pried off by me with this tool. I might have use of the metal prong to lift up soda can tabs but I tend to avoid them as much as possible. Haven’t tried it on jar lids yet. I’m also of the opinion that it’s priced a little high; it might be worth $10 at most. I’m not returning it even though I’m tempted. Or I may if it doesn’t work well on jar lids. I have a little time…..

Helpful for me
Very surprised that this works. Once I figured out how to “open” the tool, it opened the jars slick as…well whatever is slick. It does seem to be a bit of an odd angle once attached to the lid. You must hold the jar very steady or you could lose your grip on it. It’s fine and helps out.

well worth buying, it works
It works great !!!! I have arthritis in my hands and always have to ask my husband to open jars for me. This jar opener changed that for me, I can now open my own jars without a lot of effort. Highly recommend this item

Hard to use
This jar opener does not operate without hand strength. This was the very reason I needed help. Sorry I’m not satisfied.
