Can not live without this. Broke my wrist ans can not open anything any moreThis device saved me. Now I can open any cap or jar top with ease. I bought one for my neighbor who is 80 and not able to open jars any longer. She has no issues now. Great ite. to have in your kitchen , camper, whete ever you have jars to open.

Don’t waste your money on the can opener.I tried to use it on a jar and it wouldn’t open so I took it to my husband and he had trouble but got it open.If you have arthritis like I do you don’t want this !

Not happy
Me and my husband was not happy with the results of this jar opener. It is doesn’t work very well. I have arthritis in my wrist. It kept sliding off the jar for the both of us. I will not be buying this product again.

Helpful for me
Very surprised that this works. Once I figured out how to “open” the tool, it opened the jars slick as…well whatever is slick. It does seem to be a bit of an odd angle once attached to the lid. You must hold the jar very steady or you could lose your grip on it. It’s fine and helps out.

It might work better for you
Well, I have a hard time grasping and gripping anything so I have limited dexterity to start with; well to open the ‘scissor’ grip on this thing is somewhat difficult- it’s just hard to articulate that. Then you have to size it to the lid. It is really hard to use on small caps like oils, water bottles, etc. It’s ok for larger tin lids like pickles and stuff, once you fumble through trying to get it open and sized up.
