I suffer from extreme nerve damage in my hands so I have severe difficulty opening bottles, cans, jars, and especialy liquid medicine bottles (like Nyquil or pepto bismol). I have not been able to open bottles of NyQuil or Pepto Bismol for I don’t know how long. I always have to cut the tops off or have my wife open them for me. Once she opens them I have lids that I’ve modified so I can open on my own when I need. I am very pleased with the jar opener as now I can finally open liquid medicine bottles without my modified lids. The other sizes on the jar opener I don’t really have much use for. The size of jars I have don’t really work with this jar opener. I can use it for opening sports drink bottles or milk/juice jugs. Larger jars just don’t fit in this jar opener.The wine bottle opener went straight into the trash. We don’t drink wine, but we do cook with wine. I have a much better wine opener than the one included in this set of opening tools. The one included in this set is junk. The only part of the wine opener that would even be remotely useful would be the tiny serated knife blade to cut the foil off the wine bottles. I would never use the tiny serated blade since I can’t even grip it to unfold the knife blade. The folding style of this opener actually made my hands hurt when I attempted to use it.I do love the mutifunction bottle opener included in this set. I can never open water bottles or soda pop bottles since I have very weak grip strength. I had an older bottle opener that I used, but it broke. The one that came in this set is great I can once again open my drinks on my own without cutting the tops off bottles. I like this style of opener, with its design it can also be used to tighten the lids on bottles. The reason I like that I can tighten the lids on bottles is for those times I don’t finish soda pop bottles in one sitting (every time I drink soda pop), I can tighten the lids so it wont spill in the fridge. I can never finish a soda pop bottle in one sitting. I like the glass bottle opener. I don’t consume adult beverages, but do enjoy glass bottle root beers seldomly. I like the soup can opener.Overall I am mostly pleased with this set of opening tools. I think the wine opener should be left out of this set. Majority of people are probably just going to toss the wine opener in the trash. My wife even hated the wine opener and she doesn’t have any kind of disabilities in her hands. For the reason of the useless wine opener I have to deduct a star. The jar opener, although it wont work on larger jars is still useful on smaller jars, AND it can be used to open liquid medicine bottles.
