Large size for serious potato mashing
Larger than I thought it would be. You can do some serious potato mashing with this thing – It will be useful around Thanksgiving with the extended family. I was looking for a masher for avocado (guac); I’m keeping this one and ordered a different, guaranteed smaller one for the avocado. Good design, high value for money, works well, will have it for many years.

A great investment for my sanity
I had a potato masher that came with a cheap set of utensils I had purchased when I first moved into my own place. It was one that was plastic and had that grid design, rather than a wavy line like this one. It felt a bit frivolous to buy another potato masher when I had one that worked, but I HATED cleaning that thing. It was so hard to clean because of the design, I always had to whip out the straw cleaner to get in the little holes. I am so happy I invested in this one. Gets the job done, and so easy to clean. It’s sturdy, has a nice grip, and very comfortable in the hand.
