Did exactly what it was intended for
Purchased for a family member with early Alzheimer’s; this made it so easy for her to keep some independence with her medications and not take too many or completely miss taking.I saw many reviews saying smaller pills slide into other sections and I have not had this occurrence to speak of and has been a month of use so far. Very easy to use once initial set up is done as she is in her late 80’s, set timers for reminders on this system, connected to the app on my phone for easy reminders, and the lock is very secure!! It comes with 2 keys in case more than one person is handling or a backup is needed (you can also purchase spare ones separately). Total set up within less than 5 minutes!! Great product and I highly recommend it!!

Easy Programming With A Smartphone.
I was really tired of managing morning and night pills. I saw carousel style dispensers online but the lower priced ones were downgraded because they were too difficult to program. The KLIM product looked like all the others but it was twice the price. The difference was in their software/firmware. The KLIM is controlled by a very smart iphone app. called Smart-Life (free). The app takes control of the machine. Once set up, you can easily program multiple dosage times. I take five in the morning and two at night. It utomatically gets the time of day using the app and from then on it just works! The app lets you take pills ahead of time or late. It even sends notifications to your iPhone if you forget to take the pill at the scheduled time. It is so well designed that you really don’t need an instruction manual. I never look at the hard to read built in display. It’s all done with the app.

DANGEROUS! DISPENSES MULTIPLE DOSES AT ONCE
This is a very dangerous product. I set it up and ran it through a test run and the very first alarm that went off it stopped halfway between two different doses instead of on a single slot. That means that when my mom would go to empty her pills out of the slot she would get both her a.m. and p.m. meds at once. Depending on what meds you’re on this could be extremely dangerous. Particularly if it happens repeatedly. Do not buy this or other models that look exactly like it. They’re all made by the same manufacturer with a different brand marketing them. Also want to know this is not due to how I put the tray in because the tray only goes in one way It has a notch that only allows you to set it in a predetermined position so the machine knows where the slots are and still stopped halfway across two different slots. I’ve seen other reviews for this product that say they had the same thing happen.

Peace of mind
I got this for my mom. I love that there’s a set schedule for her medicine- I see how much more effective her meds are now that she takes them on a set schedule. Also it gives me peace of mind know she is promped to take her medicine (she use to forget and it was a hit and miss with either her morning or evening meds) so as long as the meds are in there she is now on a regular schedule) The manual says you can set it up without the app download to a cellphone. But thru the app it is easier to set the timer and med schedule. Mom is on a twice daily schedule but I know you can set it for more per day. Definitely recommend this item.

works, but documentation is poor
Administering medications to a person with memory problems is a complex process. This device does work, but the instructions are hard to understand and lack any overview of how the product works, and how to use it. We did eventually figure it out ourselves, but only after much trial and error. One feature I do like is that it can store credentials for two separate wi-fi hotspots, so for example, it could be moved from a main home to a seasonal home and be able to connect to either of two networks without intervention.

Game changer!
I got this for my Mother who is 88yrs young. Now she never misses a pill. I don’t have the need to make sure she’s taking her pills nor does she forget. This pill dispenser is a game changer. Love it.

Complicated instruction on timer
Works as it should if you could figure out how to set timing schedule, which is complicated for the senior,. Even had the neighbor who is computer savvy struggled, so I sent it back.

Amazing product for seniors!!
I got for a client for her bday (more so to help the husband out) and he said it was an absolute game changer!! He doesn’t have to worry about her taking her meds at the wrong time or taking too many because she forgot. He’s even recommended this to other people he knows!!

Do not hesitate to purchase. I can’t recommend this enough for anyone who needs reminders to take their pills. Great for seniors and there is notification sent to whoever you choose when pills have been taken. It locks so you are unable to take the pills until the allot time.

I found the machine very helpful in making sure my elderly mother doesn’t forget her medication. The app is connected through wifi and can go on multiple phones so my sister and I both can keep track whether she has taken her pills or not. It holds a fairly large number of pills and is adjustable for different medication schedules depending on if pills need to be taken once a day, twice a day, etc. It was fairly easy to set up and I like the battery backup. There are a few things I see room for improvement on. One is how the pills are removed when it’s time to take medication. The whole unit must be picked up and tipped over which is difficult for weak arthritic hands to handle. And also the pills occasionally get stuck when trying to get them out. Another thing is that the alarm needs to be able to adjust to a louder volume. There is some adjustment and the volume would be ok for most people but my mother, like many elderly, is very hard of hearing and has difficulty hearing the alarm if she is asleep or in another room. Over all though, I think this pill dispenser is worth buying and does give peace of mind.

I bought this for my mother who has me.ory loss and would take more pills then needed because she would forget that she already took them. So I have set it up on my phone with specific times of day to take them and it alerts me if she has taken them or not. I also keep the keys with me and her refill bottles are with me as well. Very easy to set up.

This is a really good tool to help keep up to date with medication. There is one major flaw however. The good: ability to program multiple medication periods throughout the day; lockable tray; load (annoying) alarm makes it hard to ignore; app integration allows you to monitor your (or loved ones) medication intake; battery backupTo consider: the biggest flaw with is product is that in order to silence the alarm you must open the pill slot , pick up the unit and turn it upside down to dump out the pills. First, there is no handle and it’s awkward to handle. Second, it’s easy to accidentally unplug the unit rhe. You are pick it up. For an older person who is weak, has arthritis, used a walker , etc. this is a really bad fest and possibly a deal breaker. Conclusion: it’s an excellent device for most people and a great way to stay current with meditation. However it has a major flaw that may make it impractical for older people who actually need it the most .

This unit needs to be plugged in all the time even though it has a battery. Contacted the vendor. Got no reply back.. Thinking it may be a defective battery but it would be nice for Vedor support.
