This is a handsome utensil that easily justifies the price tag, it’s well made, sturdy and the wood and mirror polish look smart.• Large enough for easy handling, small enough to store in drawersIt’s got good proportions at a slightly smaller size of 10.5″ length, 3.26″ diameter and a nice feeling and weight to it at 7.4oz, without being heavy.The masher base is 0.06″ thick and the attachment pole 0.47″, so while it looks elegantly slim, there’s no chance of bending or other deformation. The wooden handle’s a comfortable 0.86″ x 3.7″, large enough for any hand and provides good resistance even when wet.• High polish, quality workmanshipThe masher’s pretty and looks classier than the cost lets expect. The welding seam is very tidy and almost invisible.The edges along the masher and holes aren’t broken or chamfered, which should make for better mashing, but they’re not sharp.The bare wooden handle’s polished smooth and symmetric. It takes just a bit of strength to rotate the wood in position. While that won’t impede working the masher, it’s not ideal as water may have an easier time creeping into the seams.The stainless components are polished to a mirror shine, micro milling lines do not take away from that. They are just slightly ferromagnetic, which is unusual for stainless.• Good design, sturdy & hygienicSimple lines make for hygienic and easy cleaning by handwash, because of the wood, and mind the handle’s seams are dried off.We appreciate the practicality of including a hanging hole and even a bottle opener into the design. We also find the slightly hexagonal mash base a good choice, as we think it gives potato skins a better chance of escaping by the sides and it just looks smart.

Amazing Quality, Watch Out for Scratches & Gunk
This masher is a sturdy tool made with quality manufactured parts. The handle feels substantial and comfortable in the hand. The steel masher head is also quite durable. However, I noticed some significant cosmetic flaws—there are many prominent scratches on the steel that were polished over, which is fine since I won’t have to worry about metal leaching. The annoying issue is that all of the holes have residue from the manufacturing process; I don’t think the final holes were properly polished or cleaned. It’s frustrating that I have to deep clean and scrub a brand new kitchen item. Overall, the masher appears it will last, but the lack of cleanliness and the abundant scratches are definitely disappointing for a new purchase. If those issues weren’t present, this would make a great gift. The quality of the materials is apparent!

Beautiful and Functional!
This stainless steel potato masher is honestly a work of art — it looks more like a sculptural piece than a kitchen tool! It’s absolutely gorgeous sitting in my utensil holder, and it performs just as beautifully. It mashes potatoes effortlessly and feels incredibly sturdy and high-quality in my hand. I love that it’s not plastic, so I don’t have to worry about it breaking like my old one did. Now that I’ve used it, I completely understand why it costs a little more — it’s worth every penny!

Great way to more finely mash your potatoes or avocados
This is a high quality, heavy duty masher. I have always had the swirl type of masher, and that never gets the fine mashing that my family preferes. This is so much better! The weight of it alone tells you that it’s well built. It does require hand washing, which isn’t my favorite, but the wood in the handle requires it so it’s worth the extra effort. Overall, great product.
