Sturdy gait belt
I am a home health physical therapist and I use this belt because it’s durable, waterproof, and cleans easily. This has the OG metal buckle that professionals use for gait training patients which I prefer over the plastic clip buckles that often fail and are difficulty to adjust with each patient. I have 2 of these on hand in my carry bag at all times and give them away to patients families when they need one. A little more expensive than the standard canvas gait belt, but well worth the money if you are a health care professional or need a sturdy gait belt for your family member. Because it is coated, I would imagine that with repeated use, the coating might wear down, but so far, after a couple years of use on my current one, it’s still looking good.

Does tend to come a bit loose
I use mine all the time for PTA school and if does tend to come a bit loose when have the patient move around, but that happens with all the gait belts I have used besides some cloth ones (which most facilities no longer use). Overall, the quality is good, and I like the texture of this one more than others.

Sturdy, affordable flexible gait belt
This was a life-saver for me post operative total knee replacement that my elderly husband successfully used to assist me on & off the toilet, and which I used for physical therapy exercise to bend my knee.
