Doggie loves it
My dog has issues with loud noises in her old age. Got this to help with anxiety by giving lite pressure like a gentle hug. She loves laying next to me and having this over her.Caution because it retains their body heat so be careful during warm months. I would not recommend for small animals that don’t have enough strength to crawl out from underneath it.Works great for people too that have restless legs and need a little bit of pressure to calm them.Great quality and stitching, fuzzy soft and cool pattern.

Comfort for a dog with neurological issues
I’m not sure how many others have bought this for a dog who had a major seizure which created many neurological problems but I’m here to help you choose this blanket! We didn’t expect he would live long but the more quality of life we provided for him the better he felt, and he is still going strong a year later. This blanket is a part of his life long recovery. He feels such comfort under the weight of this blanket, I can put it on top of him and it seems like all his pain and anxiety just melts away. The weight of the blanket is perfect for him, he is a Maltese, very thin, unable to eat very much, but this blanket works perfectly for him. It appears to be extremely durable as well, because of his issues he is drooling all day, all night, and this blanket is like brand new when it comes out of the wash. It’s extremely heart warming to see him get such relief from the smallest things we are able to provide him, I love this blanket and would recommend it from just basic comfort, to anxiety, to full on neurological conditions.

Best blanket for a scared dog ever!!!
OMG! I LOVE this blanket!!! I have a wonderful sweet 95 pound American Saffy. He is TERRIFIED of thunder. I bought this hoping it would help. I exceed my expectations. The second the Thunder starts, we wrap him in his “boomy Blankie” he relaxes and goes to sleep. I would have paid double! It is ver well made and very cute. If you have a dog that is fearful for any reason, but this blanket. Best thing you can do for your beloved pet and you.

The item appears well-made and heavy. Getting my dog to stay covered up with it is a different matter altogether, so I can’t say whether or not it helps his anxiety.

Helps relax my boy
My dog has horrible anxiety- medication level, aggressive anxiety- and I thought I’d give this a shot. He seems to relax after we cover him (it’s heavy so hard for him to get fully underneath). He even will nibble on it to soothe himself. His behaviorist (animal psychiatrist :)) was impressed with the level of comfort this gives our Bean. It helps him relax at night.

This is the cutest little weighted black for dogs, and my pup absolutely loves it! She falls asleep under it right away. The only downside is that the color doesn’t match what was shown in the description/image. It’s a peachier/coral color…but…still give it 5 stars.
