Customers say
Customers find the handwashing timer effective, particularly for second graders, and appreciate its ability to make handwashing fun. The device features a quiet beep and is considered a must-have for classrooms, with one customer noting it works better than counting to twenty. While the light stays on for 23 seconds and customers consider it fantastic, there are mixed experiences with durability – some find it durable while others report it breaks within a week or two.

Very helpful with my dilemma in my classroom👍
I’m a daycare teacher and work with 4&5’s who prepares to go to Kindergarten and they don’t use their time wisely during handwashing. They would stand there and play and wasn’t using time wisely so I thought I wonder if they have a hand washing timer and that’s when I found this, this is the first day of using it and the kids are responding to it very well and wait for the chime and know it’s time to get down so I would definitely recommend it for classrooms it teaches them time management skills and using their time wisely.

My kiddo thinks handwashing is a fun game now!
This is very helpful to help teach my 4 yr old how long she should scrub while handwashing. She loves it and it has turned handwashing into a fun activity, rather than a dreaded chore. It has tumbled into the sink a couple of times, and she often bops it with soapy fingers, and it’s still working wonderfully, so it’s a durable product. I think this is a great learning tool for home or school.

Kids love them! I love them!
These have made my kids excited to brush their teeth and wash their hands! They have been durable being used by 6 kids in one bathroom! The light is bright enough to be seen well with the lights on and the colors snd graphics are exciting and eye catching. They are small enough to both fit on a smaller bathroom counter along with a toothbrush holder and washcloth basket. I’m so excited I decided to get these for my kids! If they make more for different uses I would consider them!

Amazing solution but not waterproof
This timer has been amazing for teaching my preschooler to wash her hands for the appropriate amount of time. At first I had trouble spending money on something that seemed so trivial, but she instantly took to it and has been diligent every time. Unfortunately it ran out of batteries and when I went to change them it was dripping from the underside. I dried it the best I could but even after that and new batteries the button won’t respond any more. I’m a little disappointed that a product that is (a) for toddlers, and (b) for use related to water is not waterproof, but I should have read the instructions closer and am still ordering another. It’s too valuable to be without! I’ll put in in a plastic bag this time, or try wall mounting with a 3M strip as other reviewers have suggested. Other than the non-waterproof aspect I think this product is brilliant and would recommend!

Excellent Classroom Tool
I use this in my Kindergarten classroom and it works so well! The beep is loud enough for me to hear across the room, but it is quick and non-disruptive. Students can easily push to set the timer and when it beeps and the light goes off, they know to rinse and dry. Great to encourage independence. Perfect for school!

Great for the classroom!
I am an elementary teacher and we are back in person at school. I placed this little button by the classroom sink for our many, many, MANY daily hand washing sessions. It works like a charm and kids love using it. They press it before they begin washing and it lights up. After 20 seconds it beeps and the light turns off. Pretty sure we have the most thoroughly washed hands in the school! Definitely recommend.

Perfect for the classroom!
I was looking for a timer to teach the 20 second hand washing process that could get wet too. I’ve tried other kitchen timers before, but they always quit working after getting too much water on them. This was PERFECT for keeping track of hand washing time and students didn’t even have to tap it with their clean hands to turn it off – it made a sound and the lights go off. This has been the best teaching tool to practice using enough time to clean hands properly. I bought two and will buy more in the future for teacher friends!

Perfect at the side of the sink for everyone to wash their hands for the right amount of time. Only downside is that it’s not designed to be under the water so had to monitor children and teach them not to pick it up or dunk it.

Got this for my autistic child to wash their hands with timer. and its just the right ammount of sound, not too loud! Easy to wipe clean (he uses his elbow to press it anyways) .
