“Let Me Tell You About Epilepsy”, is a story about a girl named Olivia, who has experienced seizures. The story takes you through a time she had a seizure, some medical tests she goes through and then being diagnosed with epilepsy.

Olivia tells you about her first seizure, going to the hospital, getting a CT scan, an EEG test and then talking with a neurologist. And she does all this in a child’s way of understanding.

This book can help children learn more about epilepsy and what could happen from a child’s perspective. It is easy for children to understand and has colorful engaging pictures and large print.

About the Authors

    wonderful book
    as a special needs mom to a child with Severe epilepsy i am always asked questions by younger children., “what is seizures”. this book will totally help me explain my sons condition to so many younger children, nieces and nephews

    I was so impressed with this book! The story is informative but still easy for kids to grasp and the illustrations are adorable 😍. So cute and a great teaching tool!

    Great read, however I didn’t like the part when it shared, the doctors flash the light in my eye @@times to see if.. if your children are curious about said topic I don’t think that sentence or read..was wise. Just my opinion, I kept it on the shelf and showed my older children only.
