Perfect for Travel
Both me and my wife take medications for various things and one of the hardest things that anyone can tell you who takes medication their whole life can tell you is that traveling with medications can be very tricky and cumbersomeThe biggest problem with traveling with meds is where to put the bottles in the case in this case with this particular pack you can buy over and go to the grocery store and get little Med baggies for like five bucks and pack this case flat as about a pack of paper a small pack of paper folded over and fill the pockets as many times as you want making traveling with meds compact efficient and not a storage issue making it efficiently able thin enough that it will fit in any travel bag in the front pouch not bulging very practical very useful easy to use and more than efficient for the everyday Med taker on the go

Just what I needed!
So far so good! Although, it just arrived. So, the true test will come when I am trekking through Nepal and Tibet for 20 days. If my opinion changes I’ll be sure to update my review. Eagle Creek makes something similar but for the price and the removable inserts, I liked this one better. Because the removable inserts are numbered my thought is that I could eliminate the trifold holder to save on weight and put the 8 inserts directly into my toiletry bag. Overall it does not feel heavy when empty. The quality of the inserts and the case is great. We’ll see how they hold up. I have 5 different pills to take each day. At first I was going to just take 5 inserts and leave everything else home but for the sake of time, in the morning, I’m going to use all of the inserts and just triple the amount in 4 of them so I can grab and go.July 14 Update: The Pill organizer was perfect for my trip. Highly recommend. I was able to fit 3 days worth of pills in some of the sleeves (12 large pills plus Aleve). The only issue I encountered was when my bag was thrown off the bus on two different occasions. My toiletry bag got squished between my boots and other items and the pills got flattened inside of the sleeves. When I got home I soaked the sleeves in hot soapy water and that cleaned them out!

Pill travel made light
For those who need to carry medicines, vitamins, or over-the-counter pills and dislike the typical cumbersome designs, the Deluxe Pill Organizer is ideal. The system offers 8 individually sealing pockets – ideally a week and a day. The packet design is slim and easy to fit in your carry-on or in your suitcase. Additionally, the side compartment provides a form for you to list your medications with an additional seal-able carry pouch. All pockets are thin plastic with a sliding sealing enclosure similar to those zipper bags in supermarkets except much smaller in size. Overall the product met all my expectations. I did have a single liquid capsule burst in one of the packets which was probably caused by the shearing force which cleaved one of my luggage zippers with the lock right off the suitcase. The leak was well contained and thankfully occurred on the return trip.

Easily adapted to a travelling tea holder
So I bought this for a slightly unusual use; I wanted something in which to store my assorted tea bags when I travel. With a little adaptation it works great! I removed all the zipper bag inserts, then carefully removed the red tabs (if you make a careful snip with very sharp scissors right at the edge of the stitching, you can tear across the stitch line like perforations. I can fit 2 to 3 foil-wrapped tea bags per pocket, and the larger pocket works well to hold cocoa packets. I left one star off for the velcro strap; they didn’t factor in the volume of the contents you add, so when it’s full (and I would imagine this would apply to pills as well as teabags) you can only just get enough contact to keep it closed. Otherwise it’s great!

Updated – Doesn’t Last Very Long…
UPDATED (10/01/2018) – The pouch is great for storing pills. But it doesn’t hold up for very long. It is only $10 but this is the second one I have bought and already slot #4, the mesh part, has ripped apart. I don’t even use slot #4 as much as I use #1 & 2 every day. I may buy a new one…not sure. I’m going to look online to see what other alternatives there are.PROS: Still very convenient way to carry pills and it holds more than any other pill organizer I have been able to find. Very slender and fits in just about any purse.CONS: It does not last very long. My first one, the #1 pouch, the plastic started to tear and the plastic zip piece broke off. You can’t buy replacement pouches so I had to buy a new one. The second one, the #4 mesh piece has ripped open so it no longer holds the pouch.I bought one of these a few years ago. I don’t take any prescription pills but I take Zyrtec-D daily along with diary pills and I hated that I would sometimes forget to take them before leaving for work. The dairy pills I had to take the packets with me and I would sometimes forget to pack more in my bag. Now, I always have them with me and I fill up each pouch as they run low so I don’t forget. I also use it for other OTC meds that I like to have on me for instances when I have a headache or stomach ache and I’m not at home. I don’t always want to have to run to a drugstore to grab something because they charge you so much for something you just need one or two pills for at the time. This helps me to have all those types of pills with me all the time and it’s very slim. It fits right into my purse and it doesn’t take up any real space. I love how it has different numbered pouches. I used the sheet on the side to write in next to each number what the pills are. I marked this down one because the pouches have plastic ziplock and they fall off and the plastic wears a bit. But I still have the one I bought years ago and only one of the pouches is really not usable. The rest are. I wish they would sell the plastic numbered pouches separately but it’s so inexpensive, it’s worth buying again.PROS: It is so slim and fits into your pursue without taking up much space. It has numbered pouches so you can list out each number with what pill it contains and it makes it so easy to not forget what you have in each pouch. It’s very inexpensive.CON: The zip pouches with use do start to rip and the plastic piece falls off though you can put it back on but it’s a pain. They also don’t sell re-fill pouches. But it’s so inexpensive, you can just buy a new one.

Love this! Bought two one for travel and one for home. So easy to grab and go for all or just one pack if im running late. Have to take my meds with food and so many times in the past if late i forgo the meds till im home cause i dont have time to make food. So this way have meds with me when i have a chance to eat something. Got the 8 and 16 count size so as it stands im good to go for 48 days without digging into my pill bottles. And filling not a huge issue just take your time and refill when ya got time. Well worth the purchase. Also bought extra plastic lewis and clark pouches just to have extra in a case if the days away on a trip extends past 8 or 16 days. This also fits nicely into the medicine safe lockable travel bag from amazon. So now i can have everything all in one spot plus the medicine bag allows for extra storage of pill bottles. So finally have a great system in place for home and work and travel.

Very happy with the organiser, slim line and very easy to use. The only thing I did find was that liquid gel capsules did tend to get a little stick in the individual packs.Very happy with the purchase.
