Not as easy to use as I had hoped
I ordered this product to help my elderly parents keep track of daily meds, and the concept of this medication organizer seemed great. However, after going through the initial setup of the alarms, putting in medications, lining up the correct dosage ring, etc. myself, I’m not sure this will work well for them.I could see it being a decent organizer if a caretaker were to set this up every month, but I don’t think this is user friendly enough for them to manage on their own. The key that’s required to open the dispenser and add meds and also close/lock the lid again is very small and even I had some trouble getting it to work right. The alarms were also frustrating to set up, and I didn’t find it intuitive at all to change the time to 11PM and then hit a button again in order to remove an alarm. Setting multiple alarms was pretty tedious and I had to re-do it a couple of times to get it right. That said, this pill dispenser does seem to be made well, durable, and the design does keep medications safe and secured. For the price, however, I think there are better options out there that would be more user friendly than this one.

Really great product but could be improved with a few features.
This is a great product for keeping up with when you need to take your meds and confirming that you haven’t forgotten to take them. It’s an expensive item and I do with it had wifi alert capabilities. I also would like to see volume adjustment, as when alarm is enabled it is either on or off no high/low setting. Also, loading pills into the compartments can be a challenge. I would like to see an included tool to help load individual sections that would help avoid accidents. I use a partly rolled piece of paper to slide the pills into the compartments. Overall, we have been using this for a few weeks and has been fantastic, the only main issue is the ease of loading. I have been preparing the meds in a seperate 2-week pill box and then transferring them into the unit.

Works as described, perfect for someone who sometimes forgets to take critical medications
I ordered this product for a family member who takes a lot of medications twice a day to manage diabetes. The product includes two security keys for the lid, 4 AA batteries, and the dispenser itself. It turns on immediately upon inserting all of the batteries, and is very easy to set up using the 3 buttons according to the instructions. You can set up anywhere from 1-6 alarms daily (so 4-28 days between refills, depending on dosing schedule), and choose 3 different alarm sound levels (silent, low, and high). There is also a light flashing indicator that is not adjustable which flashes until the unit is flipped over and the pills are dispensed.Overall, this appears to be a good quality automatic pill dispenser which will help anyone who has trouble taking critical medications consistently or at specific times.—This review is for LiveFine Automatic Pill Dispenser with 28-Day Electronic Medication Organizer, 6 Dosage Rings, LCD Display with Sound & Light Alerts, Key & Magnifying Glass for Prescriptions, Vitamins & Supplements.

    Dispenser
This LiveFine automatic pill dispenser has been such a great purchase for my health. The timer on the pill dispenser helps me stay on top of taking my pills as needed. The different sounds that you can select and use on the dispenser let you know that this is a daytime pill, this is afternoon, and this is the night time pill. Having this pill dispenser has really helped me stay on top of timely taking my pills and I’ve seen health improvements! I I like that this pill dispenser is a full 28 days, I’m only have to fill it once monthly with my prescriptions.

    Decent function poor design
Especially for people with waning vision, it’s difficult to see the screen at times because it is dim and I can’t control the brightness of it and the physical labels are very small and placed upon different color backgrounds that do not provide enough contrast. Additionally, given how most months don’t have 28 days or less, it might be confusing for people using this to follow and track their medication and when to refill these when they have to manually account for extra days outside of the 28. For a device that is supposed to make time management easier, I think this is a poor oversight of the designers for this pill dispenser. The function of having these automatically dispense and alerting the user to use this, as well as the safety features like the lock, are good. Other than that, I can’t recommend this.

    Works well after setup
I got this automatic pill dispenser to help my parents manage their daily medications, since they have several prescriptions to take at different times. The unit looks professional and has roomy compartments that hold multiple pills for each dose, which helps with organizing. Setting it up took some patience because you need to follow the programming steps exactly, but once done, it works smoothly. It alerts with both sound and a flashing light that’s easy to notice but not harsh. I also like the locking lid, which keeps the pills secure and prevents spills or access by kids. It runs on batteries, which is convenient, though I wish the screen numbers were brighter for easier reading. Because the lid is semi-transparent, I keep it away from sunlight so the pills stay safe. Even with those small points, it’s a dependable tool that helps my parents stay consistent with their medications.

Setup takes time and not ideal for light-sensitive pills
This automatic pill dispenser offers lots of features and helps keep medications organized, but I found the setup a little cumbersome and it took some patience to get everything programmed. The compartments are roomy and the customizable dosages are handy, but if your pills are sensitive to light, you’ll want to be careful, since the body isn’t opaque, it’s best to store the unit in a dark, cool space to help protect your medication. Once ready, the locking mechanism is reliable, and overall it works as advertised for those with complex schedules. Just be prepared for a setup process that requires careful attention, especially if managing multiple medications or light-sensitive pills.
