I’m very satisfied with the Lockly Vision Elite Video Smart Lock. It combines a high-quality smart lock and video doorbell into one device, and it has greatly improved the security and convenience of my home.The HD camera delivers clear video day and night, and the Lockly Home app provides real-time notifications whenever someone approaches the door. I especially appreciate the 2-way audio and fast fingerprint recognition, which unlocks the door in under a second. I no longer need to put down my stuff to open the door.The PIN Genie keypad is a great feature—it scrambles the numbers each time to prevent code guessing, and I can store multiple access codes for family and guests. The solar charging keeps the battery running without worry, and offline access codes make it easy to let others in even without an internet connection.Installation was a little bit complicated especially when you try to hide the wire under the cover, the app is reliable, and there are no monthly fees for video storage. this is much better than Ring. Overall, this is a feature-rich and thoughtfully designed product that I highly recommend.

This Smart Lock Has All The Features
We absolutely love our Lockly Smart Lock! The fingerprint option is a game changer—fast, reliable, and so convenient. The camera quality is crystal clear, which gives us extra peace of mind. I also love being able to lock and unlock the door right from the app. It feels very heavy-duty and secure, and on top of that, it looks sleek and modern on our door. Highly recommend for anyone wanting both style and smart security!

Well designed product packed full of useful features
This is a very well designed lock with more features than any other smart lock on the market. Yes, it’s expensive but the price is comparable to the cost of a smart lock + video doorbell and this product incorporates both.1. Packaging was top notch and the box includes (almost) everything you need for battery charging, installation and hub setup.2. Installation was both reasonably easy and a bit complex. I’m no pro but I thought everything was well labeled and clear enough that directions were almost unnecessary. I read them through anyway. (I usually prefer written manuals to instruction videos, but both were clear, simple and easy to follow.)For me the complexity came when I couldn’t get the lock to open smoothly after installing the interior assembly and battery pack, although everything turned easily before putting in the interior assembly. Finally I realized that the problem was a weak battery. When I’d plugged the battery into the USB charger earlier, I misread the v-e-r-y slowly blinking light on the cord for a steady light indicating full charge and went straight to assembly. After a few hours’ charging, the lock worked as expected.3. Features:• Solar charging: I’m a big fan as our old battery powered smart lock once caused a major problem when the batteries died without any warning and left Grandma on the street when we were in Italy. The Lockly comes with a spare battery pack too so it’s quick to swap in a fully charged battery if solar doesn’t keep it fully powered.• Camera: Solid quality, even at night or when the sun is shining at the camera.• Fingerprint access: Works well even with wet or slightly dirty hands.• Keypad: Having once had my camera and other things stolen minutes after I placed them in a locker with a self selected code bc someone using mirrors was watching me select the combination, I definitely appreciate the pin genie keypad.• Intercom: A nice feature which we don’t really use but is cool to have.• App: The remote unlock function is handy and I love being able to integrate with Alexa, but the app is a little clunky–more like the design of the Alexa app and less like that of Ring, for instance.• Support: A bit of a wait to get connected but on a Sunday evening, I’m really not complaining. The woman I spoke with actually knew the lock and understood how it works and she was clearly not just reading from a script, and I would buy this lock again for that reason alone.All in all, this is a well-designed, well-packaged product with great features, clear instructions and reliable and helpful 24/7 support.

Atrocious video quality and connection speed
I have the hub hard wired to gigabit Ethernet and within eye shot and 20ft ofn the lock, and the video quality is not even remotely usable. The motion detection zones can’t detect people or animals from cars or trees and the range slider does not work. I have vehicles over 15ft away and the range set to 3ft and get constant notifications. Only by setting it to continuous motion for 30+ seconds in which it’s then pretty much useless will it work. This is a very expensive, very flawed lock. Customer support admitted that the zones are basically bs. This is a case where marketing hype is effectively false advertising. If you live in a populated area or more than 10ft from the hub avoid this like the plague. The 30m range is just a total lie.

Great lock, steep price but worth it
I really like this lock so far. The finger print scanner works well. Have not tried the facial recognition. The camera is great but it doesn’t always record, but we didn’t get it for this particular feature either. It might work better if we messed with the settings. The two rechargeable battery packs are nice. I huge upgrade from having to use x4 AA’s. The price is a bit steep but it works well and has a ton of features. The set up is easy as well

All secure
Love my new lock. I’ll admit that I did not install in myself as I’m not very good at that. The locksmith dad did install it had to make some modifications to the existing hole so that it fit and once that was done it only took him aprox 20 minutes to finish. Set up to my wifi and phone was easy. Adding my fingerprint was also simple enough. Again I just had it installed yesterday so time will tell but I like the way it looks and all the options available for granting access to family members and friends. I will update if things go south but as of right now VERY HAPPY!!
