The LOSCHEN Slide Transfer Board with Two Hand Cutouts is a plastic board meant to aid in transferring individuals across surfaces. It is a thick yet still slim piece of solid plastic, and it has some weight to it. It is meant to help slide people between surfaces, like bed to chair, or chair to bath kind of scenarios. Best to have an aide who can help hold and stabilize the transfer. It is not too deep, likely to prevent being in the way and not fitting in space limited tighter places such as wheelchairs. Though it may seem limited in use, it does alleviate having to lift persons up entirely to move them, which adds up in a day. Overall this is a decent plastic sliding transfer board for individuals.

This transfer board Is a wonderful addition to the tools necessary when you have a person that is very ill in your home. I use the board only when it becomes necessary, mainly when I am too tired to safely stand.I appreciate having this transfer board on hand and I know my wife does as well. It is well made and very durable. I have used it mainly with my mobiity scooter.Overall this is a highly functional, very sturdy, and extremely practical tool to have if you are working with an elderly or ill individual. At the time of this review it was selling for $39.99 which seem high but possibly necessary, but one thing is for sure this tool is necessary in some cases.

Excellent Transfer Board
This is an excellent quality, heavy duty plastic transfer/slide board. It’s plenty solid yet not too heavy to manipulate. The non-transfer side has a surface that really helps to keep it in place while you slide between surfaces using the smooth side. I thought the fact that it’s straight and not curved might be a problem but it works safely and easily. Recommended.

Aside from the packaging being open this is going to help big time
Finally this showed up at my door. It looks like the package was open but it was here. This will make the transition to the wheelchair way easier. I’m glad it survived shipping because this will definitely help. Trying to move someone without something like this is nearly impossible without some extra aid from someone else who can lift the weight. This way it locks into place and can be easily secured while moving around.
