Great fabric, Great Comfort
This is definitely strong support. I’m 5’3 and 180lbs, and got a size XL… this smoothed me out pretty well, but definitely not like the pics advertise lol. Which is to be expected, I didn’t see a difference in my body at all except a little smoother. And definitely made my ribs hurt a tiny bit after taking it off because it was such a strong support! The fabric is super comfortable surprisingly. I expected to put it on and then feel like I was being cut in half when I bent over. That was not the case in any way! It feels like your own skin. My only real complaint is that it made “back fat” (as circled in one picture) and the “butt scrunch” did NOT scrunch lol. Maybe my butt is just big, but when I bent over i literally heard the seam/fabric pop/rip. The legs on this were surprisingly satisfying. I expected them to cause my thighs to have that weird indent, which it didn’t. Or for them to ride up, which they didn’t. The zipper in the crochet (also pictured) is very generous. It zips from the front right to about Alf way up your bum, and there’s a soft piece of fabric to cover the zipper from your….kitty. Very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone pot op or post c-section. I wish I had it for after my c section. This just didn’t do what the pictures showed (which was unrealistic, I know) but I was hoping to bring my stomach down a size. If this didn’t do it clearly I am on my own 🤣

Tight in the waist
The faja is tight in the waist area and pulls in your stomach and creates a defined waist. The faja was not tight in my thighs.The boat area is stretchy and soft and does not have any compression. I think it stretches to make room for surgery alterations.The stomach area has three rows of hooks to adjust your compression. And then has a zipper over the hooks. There is also a zipper in the crotch area to allow for easy access.When I wore it, there was a lump in the top of the back area as if there was too much fabric. The top straps flatten and pull in your side boob to make your breasts sit up higher.

Order a couple sizes down for maximum shaping
I ordered a size down as I do with all shape where I get from Amazon because it never seems to get the perfect hold but a lot of times it’s good enough. I ordered one size down when getting this shape wear in a size medium. I could have gone down to even a small for a more firm hold however, the medium was ideal. There’s not much tummy control hold, but there is some minimally. It does help the bottom look more cheeky, however, I am accurately square shaped when it comes to my hips and behind, and it did not help curve that shape. I did try it on with a pair of jeans where you do see an indentation.
