A Must for TMJ Surgery
This work rather well for any kind of jaw/facial injuries, but was perfect for my TMJ surgery. Stays in place and is comfortable. The gel packs stay cold for a good bit.

I have TMJ that mostly acts up during the day. I’m still trying to figure out if it’s due to stress or alignment of teeth. Botox stopped helping and expensive, so thought I’d give this compression gel packs.The item took almost a month to arrive, which didn’t impact my rating but wanted to note in case this is an issue for others.I was so excited when I finally got it, because my jaw has worse than ever recently. In the package there was:4-gel packs, strap and instructions.The gel packs are small and tear shaped. They can be used cold or hot.The strap is shaped like a sleep mask. The material is good quality and feels nice, especially the inside because it’s feels silky. The silky inside is where you put two gel packs. The stitching all around is done well. There are straps that secures to your head with Velcro. The straps are long and wide enough to be comfortable and the Velcro held well.Apparently you can wear/use it multiple ways, but again I used for my jaw. Before I first used it, I washed the strap and packs because it had a slight smell when it first arrived. After washing everything held up well and all dried very fast.I froze the gel packs per instruction for 2 hours. After that time both were still flexible and not hard.Inserting into the silky pocket, I needed to shove them in. I think doing this over and over again, I can see the stitching breaking eventually. I alsowasn’t sure how to insert the gel packs…the fat side or pointed side. In the end, I inserted the pointed side in first, which gave the most coverage on my jaw and chin. My entire jaw is in pain to my chin, but the gel packs only covered my jaw and half my ears, which was not ideal but okay.Wearing the strap was comfortable and the frozen packs in the strap made it so I was able to tolerate the cold longer. However, even though it was comfortable and I washed the strap and packs before using, the band still had a strange smell and my chin became itchy.The frozen gel packs only lasted a little less than an hour before they were near room temperature again. I haven’t tried heat yet, so can’t speak on that.Wearing this definitely works well and provided some pain relief. I just wish the gel packs stayed cold longer and was long enough to hit my jaw and chin.

This was perfect for wisdom tooth recovery! Love that the little ice packs themselves are removable so you can keep a rotation of some in the freezer while you’re using the other half. Wisdom teeth ice pack
This head wrap is meant to hold ice packs for teeth or jaw pain. It comes with 4 reusable gel packs that freeze hard in the freezer, and it’s a little hard to get them in the pockets in the head wrap if they’re already frozen so it’s better to put the gel packs in the pockets and then freeze the whole thing. But if you need the more ice packs, it’s nice that it comes with 2 extra so you can swap them out, just know the froze ones have to be put in gently. The head wrap is adjustable with velcro so it can fit most head sizes. The material is soft enough to be against skin and not irritate my cheeks at all when they’re holding the ice packs in place. I also can use this without the ice packs to keep my mouth closed when I sleep at night with my CPAP machine, so that’s an added bonus! Very easy to use and feels pretty durable, so I hope this will last for a while.

Sto usando questa fascia dopo l’estrazione dei denti del giudizio e l’ho trovata molto comoda ed efficace. Il design con la fascia regolabile permette di tenerla ben ferma su mascella e mento senza doverla sorreggere con le mani, così posso anche muovermi o riposare mentre la utilizzo. Gli impacchi si raffreddano velocemente e mantengono la temperatura per un tempo adeguato, aiutando a ridurre gonfiore e dolore. Ottimo anche il fatto che sia riutilizzabile sia per impacchi freddi che caldi, quindi utile non solo nel post-operatorio ma anche in caso di dolori muscolari o tensioni alla mandibola. Un prodotto pratico e ben fatto che rende la fase di recupero decisamente più confortevole.

Quite a well made velcro wrap,with pockets for two gel packs which can be frozen or heated depending on your preference or what worls best for you.The wrap itself is well made,though slightly heavy with the packs inside.Theres four packs,so 2 for use and 2 chilling or being heated.Beware that the gel packs can get quite hot when heated though.Not just good for toothache,but also good for headaches,maybe migraine relief as well.The cost is decent and the ability to not have to use your hands to keep the packs in place is very handy to have.All in all,a decent wrap.
