Must Read Book for Anyone Who Values Their Health! Well Written and Very Informative!!
This was a very well written and informative book. IMHO I believe everyone should read it. The quality of your well being or someone you know or love will most definitely benefit from it. As I was reading various chapters different friends and family members popped into my head and I couldn’t wait to tell them about this book and how it could possibly help and or change their life. It’s not a cure all but I’m a firm believer that our well being rests in our diets, what we consume and what our bodies desperately need but are not getting. I’ve already experimented with magnesium supplements and know that I personally need one but there are various forms and this book helped guide me in the right direction, answered oh so many questions and shed much needed light on some health concerns. Very thankful I came across this book!

Excellent book on an overlooked mineral!
Having made several adjustments to my diet and lifestyle after reading the Vitamin D Cure by this author I was really pleased he had this book on Magnesium to add to my collection. I was aware that I was overlooking this mineral in my diet and reading though the list of symptoms realize it is something I need to address. To my astonishment I thought I was covering most of the things my diet doesn’t reach with my trusted multivitamin/mineral supplement I always take – yet when I peer at the long list on the bottle this morning magnesium is not on it! A really helpful book which is written in such an approachable manner. At last, a good reason to eat dark chocolate! Well worth getting!

    Not worth time or money
The Title is deceptive on it’s face. Other than a mention of having found no Proof magnesium causes weight loss and a few other mentions about the minerals function in the body, the subject is ignored. This author repeatedly cites as authority a person who was denied the right to practice medicine in two countries. The author states that a person should consume half an ounce of water per pound of body weight. This is an astounding amount of water to consume in addition to fluids found food and drink throughout thet day. For a 200lb man thats 100 ounces. Unless workkng and sweating which might require even more water… the amount the author recommends is not supported in accepted medical literature.Simultaneously implying that the reader is probably deficient and that taking magnesium is dangerous… ? ? ? Stating massive doses are harmful… without clarifying what constitutes a massive dose..Other flaws… Non Active Table of Contents … Non Active Footnotes… No active links to cited information in footnotes.

  11. Searching for answers

This is a really short book but it is competently written and well organised and, the best of all, it has an extensive bibliography at the end which contains direct links to the web-sources used — thus one can immediately follow up on more in the areas of interest. There is a link to another text by the same author at the opening of the book which, unfortunately, did not work for me — a pity as l would have liked to read this as well.

Good book, careful explanations, lists of the different types of magnesium and any side effects. About a month ago someone recommended that I buy magnesium cream to treat my night cramps. Worked immediately and effectively and I slept for a solid 8 hours that first night as opposed to the usual restless 4/5 hours. I decided to take it further to see if I could improve my magnesium levels and this excellent book has pointed me in the right direction. Highly recommended.
