Great gadget.
I started canning last year and none of my can openers would pull the lids off my canning jars. I bought this Mason Jar Opener and it works great. The seal on the lid doesn’t get dented or bent. It is so easy to use and it works every time. It is just angled perfectly to lift off the lid.It might seem like it is expensive but it really works great and will last a lifetime. It is very sturdy and doesn’t take up much room in the utensils drawer.This is one of those tools that you didn’t know that you needed but will wonder how you got along without it.

Works well on mason jars and others
No complaints. I was tired of my kids opening my home-canned jars and just demolishing the lids bending them like crazy using jar pops and such because if the lid has no damage I will reuse them for uses other than officially canning with them. This thing is easy to use and works without bending or denting the lid at all. I also use it to pop the seal on commercially canned jars of things like pickles or relish and it does so easily and without damaging those lids. I am older and my hands aren’t that strong so this is a useful feature for me.

Good Quality
I am very impressed with the quality of this jar opener. It is very solid and heavy-duty, not light and flimsy at all. So far I have only used it to open vacuum-sealed mason jars, but it works great for that. It opens the jar without damaging the seal, so I am able to re-use the lid to seal the jar back up.

Has been the only tool I’ve been able to use to open some jars. I’m so flipping weak compared to before the politicians decided my life and livelihood had less value than their votes.When my hands shake or I don’t have the oomph to begin to tackle opening a jar, this has been a godsend. It has a couple of nifty tabs to lift the edge of the lid and break the seal. You can’t then reuse the lid because it warps the seal, but fine if the lid is going into recycling anyway or if you are going to buy new lids.The whole thing is somewhat cheaply made with sharpish edges. I’d prefer that these had been polished off a tad. I guess the seller wants more profit than if it were made to say Oxo standards.I can’t comment on it’s lifespan.Best I’ve found so far. VFM questionable for that reason.Hopefully recyclable metal assuming it doesn’t rust.

Works great! It pops off the mason jar lids real easy with very little effort. very happy with this no name Mason Jar Opener. And as it claims, it does no damage to the lids.
