    Good product
My box of 20 was made in April 2025 and guaranteed through April 2030, I also visually inspected all 20 packages and found no issues with the vacuum seals. These arrived in a previously shipped box that had been taped up but none of my rations were compromisedDimensions are 13.5w” by 13.5l” by 7.5h”

    Haven’t eaten them yet
Haven’t tried them yet.But they have a 5 year shelf life; the package I received was only 2 months old, plenty of life left.Only one small complaint; one package was not vacuumed sealed; all the rest were still sealed and viable for the emergency kit.

    Good value.
Purchased (2) packs of (20) 3600 calorie bars at ~$120 per pack.Really Good $$$ value per calorie. I’ve seen other brands on amazon charge 3x that rate for emergency food bars. Pretty decent deal.Only 1 of the 40 items were not fully sealed. Not too bad considering the reviews I’ve read on some other brands had 3 in 20 fail. Still sucks though, that ~$7 of product that I didn’t receive undamaged, and I don’t trust that product to be safe to eat in the long term with the broken seal. Oh well. The taste is like super dense pound cake with a little bit of lemon flavor. Surprisingly tasty, though I’m sure it would get real tiring real fast. The brick of food is pretty hard to snap, but once you snap it its easy to eat/bite. The item is a massive, heavy flat brick of food. It could be useful to subdivide and reseal portions as emergency car or hiking snacks. The package says it is not thirst provoking, and while you may be able to survive not drinking water with it, you will not be in for a fun time. I recommend having water to drink with it.

    Fast shipping!!
It has a shelf life of 5 years. However, when I received these bars they only have 4 years left for life.Got the product super fast though and they are good!! Thank you!

As advertised, tastes like pie crust.
These were well packaged and stack easily. I found zero bad vacuum seals among 36 bars. Manufacture date was two months prior to ordering. The taste and consistency is about like pie crust, the apple/cinnamon flavor is strong without being overpowering. I’d put these on par with the SOS bars I’ve used in the past. 5/5

ok emergent food but count on losing some time, maybe a year or more, right off the top
Texture and flavor is ok. It’s not going to win any awards even when compared to other types of emergency food (ie: Mountain House). But it’s not terrible and it’s extremely durable. Price is much higher than it used to but it’s still ok if you catch it when it’s down a bit. HOWEVER, when I received and opened the package (terrible packing for shipment as usual) the bars were already a year old. So only 4 years left. I don’t know about other folks storage of food but even 5 years flies by on LTS supplies so losing a year right from the start is aggravating. And jsuk, this was a direct purchase and shipment from Amazon, not from a 3rd party seller. Needless to say I’m going too go to all the time and trouble to return the items. I would like too have these on hand but I don’t think I’ll risk buy more food products from Amazon and this brand is hard to find other places.**original review was for 2400 cal Bars, Below is brief update for *1200 cal Bars**The case of 1200 cal Bars arrived in their original case with no packing or outside shipping container. Several bars had damaged wrappings although it a bit hard to tell how many are affected. The bars are about 6 months past manufactured date so still lost some time but better than the 2400 cal Bars in that respect. I tried some of the bars with damaged wrapping (hoping the damage was recent and the bars weren’t sitting in the warehouse for 6 months with broken protecting wrapping). The bars taste about what other reviewers indicate: A dry, crumbly sugar cookie that smells and tastes a bit like apple cinnamon. Not a great taste but not bad either. Fyi, the 1200 call Bars are MUCH easier to eat than the 2400 call Bars. The 1200’s are thinner and easily bitten through.2nd case of 1200 cal bars. Received loose in an Amazon box. Looks like they are picked over from returns or damaged goods. Expiration dates varied with the most recent already 9months old all the way up the 18+ months already used up. I won’t order them again from Amazon or any vendor on Amazon. You can order them from a MayDay vendor with the only typical issue being shipping costs. However they’re fresh and usually a good price before shipping. With emergency food, you truly only get value if you’re picky and careful.

    Handy to keep around
Solid, good taste, highly palatable. Great with coffee. Could live off these if I had to.
