Can’t hear it. It puts off a very short, very quiet noise when time expires. The magnetic base is weak.

This timer never counted accurately and the ready bell quit working after the 2nd or 3rd time. It’s a piece of junk and should not even be on the market.

Keeps Accurate Time
I bake a lot and I am used to using a wind up timer to monitor cooking times. I know it’s rather old school when everyone else uses the timer on their phones but it’s just what I prefer. I recently purchased a second home and needed a timer for the new kitchen so I saw this and decided to give it a try. I tested it against my phone timer several times and it was spot on and just as accurate as my iPhone in keeping the time I set it for. It’s a sleek, stylish design and it can easily be attached it to one of many metal surfaces in my kitchen since the bottom is magnetic. It would also look really sharp just sitting on the counter.

VERDICTBuyWHYI love that this is a simple mechanical timer. I keep it on my fridge. A unique difference is when you set the timer, you can visually see RED for how much time is left without specifically reading the numbers. That means from across the room you have a quick visual indicator – this is unique and adds an extra visual dimension
