Excellent kitchen timer
I was surprised with the weight and feel of this kitchen timer. It looks and feels like a quality product. It is heavy with a very strong magnet that holds fast to your refrigerator or whatever. It doesn’t slide down the refrigerator door like some of the timers with chintzy magnets I’ve had in the past. The alarm is loud enough to cut through household noise but not loud enough to be annoying.The contrast dial is a nice touch which allows you to see at a glance how much time is left from across the room. This timer is extremely accurate. I tested this timer against the timer on my stove at 5 min, 20 min, and 1 hour intervals. All three times both timers went off within 3-5 seconds of each other.It looks nice, kind of retro, which is a pleasant change from this electronic world.Highly recommended.

This timer is nicer than I expected. First of all, it is made of a really nice metal. It seems very well made and of high quality. The magnet is really strong and fits well to the refrigerator or magnetic dry erase board. It is easy to set, and the ring isn’t extremely loud – think old fashioned bell alarm clock. The visual timer is wonderful for it’s intended purpose in the kitchen but also for children in a home or classroom setting. It will definitely help with impatience and the question, “How much longer?”
