Serves the need, well designed.
I purchased this ice wrap primarily for the different straps. Ice compresses are used often in our home, and I thought it would be nice to be able to move a little without having to rebalance and wrap with every shift.First, this ice pack serves my purposes nicely. The strap actually stayed in place while I walked around a bit, allowing me to go into the kitchen or bathroom when needed.Second, the compress is quite well made. It has a short strap “built in” sufficiently long to wrap a knee or elbow, but includes three more of varying lengths that would allow wrapping of almost anywhere on the body. Because the straps use hook-and-loop tabs, it’s possible to add to the lengths as necessary. There is a very nice, soft lining to one side of the ice pack that also reduces some of the cold of the compress. The seams are wide and look sturdy.Finally, the compress is nicely compact. Space is an issue in our refrigerator, and it folds into a neat 5″ x 4″ x 3″ space that is easily tucked into the door shelf. Unfolded, the compress covers a 12″ x 5″ area.Clearly, I’ve only used the ice pack function, but it can also be used as a heat pack with all the same benefits. This will do frequent duty in our home.

Easy to use, great product!
I often have neck and shoulder pain and used this product in place of a traditional heating pad on my neck. Although it took a bit longer to heat in my microwave than the instructions stated, it worked very well. I liked that it was comfortable to wear and it conformed to my neck. The plush lining is very soft and comfortable. The heat felt great and definitely relieved my neck pain. Plus, the heating pad I’ve used in the past had to be plugged in, which limits mobility. Wearing this I could go about usual activity. I’m glad to have this reliable product on hand as a reusable ice pack for injuries as well as a comfortable heating pad.

Easy to use, works well on my knee pain.
I like the fabric side, nice and soft and comfortable on the skin. I do heat it longer than recommended since I have a low power microwave. I haven’t used it frozen, so cant comment, but the heat is good. The straps hold it in place while I’m on the couch, but I don’t think it would stay put while walking around, but it does come with an extra strap which is great.

Doesn’t seem to last long but conforms well
I’ve used this twice so far as an ice pack and have found that it does conform better to my neck then my old gel ice pack ,but it dosen’t seem to stay cold as long maybe 15 minutes. I will say it was in my freezer for only about 3 hours for the first use. As I use it more and have in in my freezer for a longer period of time I will update.

Great for my autoimmune pain flares!
I have Hashimoto’s and am in pain daily. Sometimes I need heat and sometimes I need ice so this product was interesting for me to try. No matter what I need it for it works every time.The adjustable straps make it easy to use it almost anywhere and the velcro keeps it in place. Because it has a nice, plush pad I don’t have to search for a hand towel to protect my skin. Both heat and ice work really well for the time I need them and it doesn’t take long to freeze again.My daughter ruptured her ACL and had surgery in January. She reinjured her knee a couple of months ago and hasn’t been able to have surgery again. She “borrows” this ice/heat pack so often I am going to have to buy her one. She says it’s the only thing she’s tried that stays in place.I’ve used this for headaches, my neck where I had surgery for degenerative disc disease a few months ago, my joints, my muscles and just to cool off when my body temperature rises and cools. I am going to buy more for myself as I can afford them over time. Sometimes I need heat and ice at the same time.Great product, I haven’t found any cons so far but will update this review if I do. I’ve been using it a few weeks now.

Excellent hot/cold pack, helps with every day aches and pains
Absolutely love this product. I have had it for about 2 months now and use it at least every other day. I’ve been on the market for a quality hot/cold pack, and I’ve finally found the perfect one.Pros:1) Adjustable straps: I have used it in multiple locations – shoulder, knee, neck, back – and it suits all of these areas very well. The multiple lengths of strap available allow you to get the perfect fit to whatever body part is aching.2) Does well with heat and cold: With the heat, I was impressed by how evenly distributed it gets. With other heating packs I’ve tried in the past, certain areas of the pack are significantly hotter than others, which is frustrating. Not the case with this pack. I will say that I typically have to heat it up longer than instructed to get the desired heat level (possibly my microwave is not very strong), but it only takes a few more 30 second cycles to get it where I want it. As an ice pack it works wonderfully as well. The beads allow it to be soft and flexible even when frozen so that it can fit well around an injured/swollen area and get the coolness exactly where it needs to go.3) Comfort: Whether hot or cold, the pack is incredibly comfortable to use. I am particularly fond of the soft fuzzy backside of the pack and feel it creates a nice barrier between the skin and direct heat/ice, thereby removing the need for a towel or cloth barrier in between the pack and the skin.Cons:1) Time to heat up (again, this may just be my microwave and is a minor issue)2) Material of the straps: While the actual pack is very soft and comfortable, the material used for the straps is more firm and at times digs into the skin depending on how it is placed. It would be nice if this could be a bit softer or have some sort of cloth/padding over it to help with overall comfort of using the pack. It is adjustable to the point that this is not usually an issue, but it would be nice for the straps to be a bit softer to avoid the issue altogether.Overall, I think this is an amazing hot/cold pack; definitely the highest quality one that I’ve ever purchased. I am a family medicine physician, and a large part of my practice is treating patients’ every day aches and pains: chronic low back pain, arthritis/joint pains, acute injuries. I firmly believe in the ability of hot/cold packs to alleviate a good deal of aches and pains. I would highly recommend this pack to anyone who uses heat or ice on even a semi-regular schedule. It is a high quality product that is well worth the investment.
