Easy to Set Up, Easy to Use
Easy to set up and use. Feel much safer not that my mom has this. No problems with charging. You do need to set up an account online/app on mobile phone so some older people may have a harder time with that. Easy to test the item. You can put in up to 4 emergency contacts, let them know where a key is stored, great features. Definitely gives us peace of mind.

Spectacularly awful
I bought this device after calling Medical Guardian looking for a device that would work well in a place with lots of 5G and little 4G cell coverage. This device needs good 4G. But that’s not the most troubling issue.This device needs regular charging but does not have a charge indicator onboard— it needs to be in its charging cradle. It has a side switch for testing, but the side switch also can turn the device off. Pressing the main “I’ve fallen and can’t get up!” button yields hit or miss results ranging from nothing to beeping to reporting there is not a good (4G) cell signal. The big button is mostly uninformative but occasionally flashes orange. I cannot imagine non tech-oriented seniors depending on this device and would not trust it in an emergency.Medical Guardian’s unresponsiveness on the phone makes the device’s problem worse. I’m an existing customer and can’t get past the hold music when I try to get help with this device or advice about other potential solutions. This doesn’t provide much reassurance that an emergency call for help will be heeded.

Worth the money and peace of mind.
Perfect size and gives me peace of mind. My mom wears it and I tell her to use the other necklace attachment in the shower. Of course she won’t and says she puts it close to shower lol, but she wears the necklace all the time and charges it other than when she showers. Ugh time sucks, wish our parents could stay healthy forever. I’d get this necklace as you save more than buying from the website directly. I have Medical Guardian’s monthly subscription.

Stay away from this device is horrible
Horrible. purchased this device for an upcoming surgery. Didn’t activated immediately. When I went to try and activate it through the website, it wouldn’t go through. Got on two different support calls each one for about 20 to 30 minutes and they still couldn’t activate it. On top of everything because I had purchased it more than a month before I couldn’t get my money back. The website has lots of problems. Their app is crap. Stay away from this device. It’s horrible.

When ordered thru Amazon the company has to activate it-can’t go online like it says. Company it will take 72 hours to activate
