Great Smart Thermostat That Won’t Break the Bank
The meross Smart Thermostat has been a great upgrade for my home. Installation was quick and painless, and I really appreciated how easily it connected to Apple HomeKit and Matter. The app is simple to use, scheduling works reliably, and remote access has already come in handy a few times. It’s a budget-friendly option that doesn’t feel cheap, solid performance, clean design, and full smart home compatibility. Definitely recommend it if you want smart control without the high price tag. My house is full of meross smart devices so, I’m overall very happy with this product. M~

Great Thermostat – Works with Smartthings
Review of Meross MTS300.Setup was easy with the Meross App. I had to request help when trying to setup in Smartthings. Support was very helpful. Accessing the MTS300 in Smartthings you can control the temperature, mode (off, Cool, Heat, Auto). Can see the Humidity, temperature and usage. I do not use Smartthings for routines with the MTS300. The Meross MTS300 has a lot of features only available when using the Meross App. The balance of this review will be based on using the Meross App.The first picture shows the opening screen. You can control the basic functions of thermostat. The three lines at the top right gives you access to the Device Settings. A lot of nice settings available. I will comment on some of them.Schedule: Can set for each day of the week or copy to several days as needed. I’m using six times to control the temperature, but you can add more if needed. The only thing I do not like is the time is set for 24 hour, not 12 hour AM & PM like we use in the USA. This is only in the schedule settings. The display will show AM or PM when showing the schedule hold time. Maybe this will be updated with a firmware update.Hold Action: This is a nice feature. If you want to change the temperature between schedules. Several options available.Advanced – Calibration: Is another nice featureAdvance – Air Filter: This feature needs some improvement. Would be nice to set the hours run between filter changes. It’s preset to some unknow time.Usage Dashboard: Will be something I will be checking in the feature.Sensor option: I plan on purchasing Meross MS100F (temperature sensor) for one room that is always hotter in AC mode. This can be added to the MTS300 to help control the HVAC system. I will follow up later, when I purchase it.Bottom line, very happy with the MTS300 thermostat. Very useful and easy to operate.

Great Thermostat
I’ve been using this Meross smart thermostat for about three months now and I’m really happy with the upgrade from my old programmable one. The setup was pretty straightforward – I did need the C-wire like they mention, but fortunately my system already had one. The Matter compatibility is a game changer since I can control it through both my iPhone and Alexa without any issues of syncing like other devices. I like being able to adjust the temperature when I’m still at work or check if I forgot to turn it down when traveling.The scheduling feature works great and has definitely helped lower my energy bills to a degree (no pun intended), the app shows you usage data which is kind of eye-opening about how much you’re actually spending on heating and cooling. My only minor complaint is that it only works with 2.4GHz WiFi, so I had to make sure I connected it to the right network, but that’s pretty standard for smart home devices. Overall, it’s been reliable, the app is user-friendly, and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking to modernize your home’s climate control without breaking the bank.

Very cost effective and functional smart thermostat
I got this to replace a previous smart thermostat. I have years of experience with these and the price and Matter support sold me on this one. The device works perfectly but wasn’t the cleanest installation. The wiring was not problem but the Android/Google Home setup instructions were somewhat dated and not very clear. I contacted support and they were very responsive and helpful. Unfortunately, it took a day between responses as support is in Asia. Got the device working just fine and I am now very happy with it. Removed one star for the somewhat unclear instructions for Matter setup. I also like that it has a humidistat built in that also reports through Google Home. Does not require a helper service to work (Matter).

Excellent thermostat!
Very cool and easy to install thermostat! I didn’t have a C wire connected, but I was lucky enough to have an extra couple of wires in the wall that I could use. I connected it to the C wire on the thermostat and then connected it to the C port on the furnace side. Super easy to install. Connectivity is great. Works great with Homekit and the Meross app. Love that it has the ability to adjust the temp so that it is accurate. Looks very nice on the wall too, very minimalist.

Solid product. Easy to setup. Just got tripped up over which wire is for hot vs cold. Which I switched in the app when I got it wrong. I’ve owned Nest over the years and I see no major difference.
