Best pain in the butt ever
Bought for my elderly mother who could not remember to take medications. We used to use the organizers that stated days of the week, but she would not know what day of the week it was. In short it was a big mess just barely better than nothing. This thing is spot on , however. The red/green color labels, date vs day, and the wonderful talking timer… It just works so well. Actually the talking timer is hard to understand, but Imade her live thru it for 2 weeks just to get used to the process. The beep alarm is sufficient. Now that she is used to the red “done”, green “next” labels , we don’t have to really know what day it is, but the LED gives her a visual cue in case of confusion. My mother curses the alarm on a daily basis, but we have not missed a single dose since we started using this system. WORTH EVERY PENNY AND MORE FOR THAT.The timer is fairly easy to set, I bought an ac adapter, but it is still running on the original batteries we started with, the alarm is set 4 x per day and frequently goes off for an hour or so before she wakes to hear it. I will probably never use the adapter unless I run out of batteries.BUT there is a huge downside for the one filling this organizer- all those little boxes have 4 separate, hard to open lids -I fill a month at a time; this takes an hour or so and a whole tabletop to do . Then if a script is changed, added or removed another hour for maintenance. We have had script changes 7 times in the past monthThis IS A PAIN , but it is worth it to me. But I’ve had lots experience with caregivers-friends & family, home health workers,etc.. and I have not encountered very many that would reliably provide the due dilligence to properly maintain this system. This is something you don’t want somebody filling during commercials, or while in a hurry to get on to the next patient down the road.Just sayin’

Best purchase for my elderly father
This device has been a godsend! My elderly father kept forgetting if he took his meds and this has been amazing. He doesn’t have to fumble to get his meds out of several bottles. The alarm is easy to set and even tells him which pills he is to take. There are alarms for four times during the day. You do not have to use all of them. The alarms will keep chiming until it is manually turned off, which is very helpful if he stepped away to go to the restroom or get something to eat.It also tells him which day of the week it is and the calendar day since he sometimes forgets. He fought me on it originally claiming he doesn’t need help, but after a few days he confessed that it was really helpful.Best purchase to help him.

Life saver
This pill organizer has truly been a life saver. My mother is in her 70s and has to take meds 4 times a day, at least 2 pills each time. Sorting out her weekly pills had become a chore and she often messed it up and put the wrong pills in the wrong compartment since it took two different pill holders (7 days, each with morning and night compartments) to make up the 4 times daily. Anyone would get confused with that, but it was what her doctor suggested! Even when the pills were sorted correctly, it wasn’t uncommon for her to miss a dose, take the wrong pills at the wrong time, take two days worth at once because she was confused, etc. A few months ago, she started to have severe memory issues and we were able to trace it down to her accidentally taking her medications incorrectly. I live over an hour’s drive away from her and she isn’t ready to live with anyone yet, so we had to find a solution that would allow her to still remain independent at home. I found this pill organizer and now I set up her pills once a month, set the timer, and she is good to go. Within a week of getting this holder, her memory issues were all better because she was able to take her meds without any confusion at all! The alarm is loud enough to get her attention when she is in another room of the house. It’s a very pleasant voice that says the day, date, time, and time of day (morning, noon, evening, bedtime). She says she no longer has to “think” about what pills to take because all the work is already done for her. I have recommended this product to everyone I know who takes pills more than once a day and Mom has asked me to order one for a lady at her church. It’s so wonderful. You can set 1, 2, 3, or 4 alarms. Each container has the date on both sides, one side is green and the other is red, so you just have to pick up the next green, take the meds throughout the day, then put it back up red-side up. It is slightly difficult to set up 30 days worth of pills at once, so I would highly suggest getting some help if you get confused, but after that, it’s so easy to use.

Works Great!
I bought this for myself as I keep forgetting to take my medication. I am 41. Even though you can use it four times a day I use it three times a day. It has an option to where you can skip a time that you’re not using your medication. I love how it talks to you to notify you about taking your medication, if it wouldn’t notify me, then I wouldn’t be able to take my medicine because again I would forget. The only downfall is, it’s very hard to open the containers. Other than that, I give it five stars.

Much needed and has reduced the stress of taking multiple pills for senior ! Easy to use and since purchase never missed a pill as the recording is loud enough that you can hear it from another room and does not not stop until you take pill .

This product is dirty, used and broken!! It had all hair on it and it’s dirty. Plus the alarm button doesn’t set anymore.
