Spend the extra few bucks next time
This is cute to show the concept of multiplication and addition, but I recommend spending the extra few bucks and getting the one with the highlighted edges. The kids (two 6 year olds and one 8 year old) were getting lost with the rainbow trim. If the primary numbers you were using in the multiplication problem/addition problem were highlighted I believe the kids would found it just a but easier. Other than that it’s a typical pop-it, which helps them understand the process. Good luck

I bought this for my daughters to use with schoolwork but I wish I had had it for every student when I was in the classroom.It has addition and multiplication so you can easily do subtraction and division plus kids love to pop!Fun and a big help as kids learn their facts!

Must have for teachers and homeschooling
This item is fantastic. My students struggled to understand the complexity of solving addition, subtraction, and multiplication problems. Using the pop-it mats allows students to solve problems using visual and kinesthetic skills. My students’ understanding and independence have increased since using the pop-it math mats. The pop-it mats are durable and easy to clean. After a month of use and repeated and frequent cleaning, the numbers are still visible.
