NatraCure® Cold/Hot Therapy Wrap (Hand, Foot, Wrist, Elbow) (FBA715 CAT)
$11.99
,
Customers say
Customers find the therapy wrap effective, particularly for plantar fasciitis and foot injuries, noting it’s better than a regular ice bag and easier to use than a bag of ice. The wrap stays securely around the foot with velcro straps, and one customer mentions it’s easy to apply to the arch. While some customers find it perfect for foot and wrist injuries, others say it’s too small. The ice retention is mixed, with some saying it stays cold for a good while while others report it doesn’t last long.

Works well and can apply cold and compression to areas of foot not easily reachable
I had tendonitis of my extensor tendons on my right foot. These are the tendons that run along and beside the bones of the instep (depicted in picture). The cold wrap was perfect in its ability to apply both cold from the gel pack as well as compression laterally across the foot at an angle resting on the extensors. The combination of cold as well as pulling the strap tight with the velcro to get compression aided in my recovery. Of course, rather than applying it directly to my foot, I wore a sock to that the cold wouldn’t burn my skin.If you are applying ice using this, make sure to buy more than one because due to the small size, the ice pack only stays cold for about 10 minutes. So the solution was to have one in the freezer while using the other for a single round of 15 minutes of ice. Even after the gel pack was no longer cold, the compression still worked The pack remaining cold for 10 minutes is not a flaw, it is physics (thermodynamics, warm foot against small gel pack). Not sure why but I could not get the gel pack to freeze even after overnight in freezer, but it did get super cold.It is a quality product that works as advertised.

Great Item, Pleased with my Purchase
The NatraCure Cold/Hot Therapy Wrap is incredibly easy to use, as one can assume it would be. I popped it in the freezer a few hours for the first use and it stayed very cool for over twenty minutes on my foot. After that I switched it to the other foot and it was still somewhat cool for quite some time.It wraps easily with strong velcro and is easily adjustable. The gel is a bit stiff when first coming out of the freezer but a bit pliable after a few minutes of “thawing.” It’s very cold but overall comfortable on the foot for cold therapy.I primarily intend to use this item for cold therapy and have not tested with heat yet but I assume it will work just as well. It’s a great item and if you suffer from plantar fasciitis and arthritis like I do, or any other painful foot condition, I know you will get temporary relief from this to help in conjunction with your other therapies and treatments. It can also be used in other areas of the body such as the wrist, hand, arm, legs, etc.The price is fair and the quality is good. I highly recommend this product to those who need hot or cold therapy.

Perfect!
Welp, I missed the fact that two items came in this package and was delighted! Now I don’t need to go without a cold one once the first melts! This is the perfect size for a wrist or elbow – which is exactly what I got it for. Wrap is not too long or too short. Solid item and I feel better they’re in the freezer waiting for me when – inevitably!- I need them.

3 1/2 stars
I have only tried this cold so far. It works fairly well for my foot; however, I wish the wrap was longer as it barely goes over my arm for my tennis elbow, and there’s no way it would work for a knee. I know it isn’t advertised for that use, but it would be nice to have something that would work for this as well. The ice pack is removable, but the instructions say to leave it with the outer wrap whenever heating or freezing it. If that’s the case, why make it removable – for cleaning purposes only? I place the entire wrap in a quart-size freezer bag for storage so it will stay clean in the freezer. One plus is that it does stay somewhat flexible even when frozen. One minus is that it doesn’t stay cold long enough for me. It would be nice if there were two ice packs so you could freeze one while using the other. If it stayed colder, I’d give it 4 stars; if I got two gel packs and a longer outer wrap, it would get 5 stars. For now, I give it 3.5 stars.

Works as well as I’d expect it to!
I am very sensitive to cold/hot to my skin. So I had to add a washcloth in between the ice pack and my foot to tolerate it. I can still feel the cold but at a reduced level to what I can withstand. It absolutely helps the pain in my foot at the end of each day. I like that I got the 2 pack for a great price, so if I need to ice both I can. Without the washcloth, the wrap would be too large for my foot size also, so the washcloth benefits me in more ways than one. I would recommend this. But if you have narrow feet, the Velcro may not connect properly.

Don’t look at the few negative reviews. These packs are great.
I want to respond to some of the negative reviews. This wrap is great. One said the ice pack is to small. You should wear it across your arch as shown in the picture. They should fit most any foot. I have a large foot and my wife foot is very small and they fit both of us. The velcro will stick to any part of the strap. I bought two so I can ice both feet at the sometime. My doctor says to ice for 30 minutes at a time. They stay plenty cold for that and much longer. These are so much better than a ice pack. Since you attach them around your foot you can cross your legs or move normally. Don’t walk on them that maybe too much pressure on the packs. Last thing one person was upset about no returns. They cost $10.00 bucks. If that is going to break you, you should probably not be shopping for anything and use a plastic bag with ice. Your cost maybe 5 cents. Take a chance and you wont regret it.

molto pratico, la parte da mettere in freezer si può staccare, in più la polsiera è anche facilmente regolabile

Bought this to speed up healing of slight perineal tendinitis (from doing a lot of walking on cambered path) and I wish I’d known about this years ago with foot injuries I’ve had from running! You can achieve the same result with a bag of frozen peas more or less, but the little gel ice pack takes up little room in your freezer, and I think the main difference in why it’s so good is that the gel pack once frozen can wrap or mold around your foot, or joint, or whatever you are icing and the velcro strap adds extra compression whilst it’s on. Yeah it’s true I think it only stays ice cold for about 15 mins max but any longer and you’ll destroy cells haha. Oh and I found another use that if you want to make your beer/drink cold then wrap this around for 15 mins and you have a cold drink!

J’aime la possibilité de passer du chaud au froid selon l’état des pieds. Aussi plusieurs façons d’appliquer les bandages, soit pour les pieds ou les poignets. Bon choix à bon prix.

I have Achilles tendonitis both feet and these wraps are perfect from the freezer to my ankles. Give 20 mins good ice cooling which is just enough for my therapy. I also have NatraCure cooling socks to too.
